I have a family of 5, 3 adults 2 kids 3,5 yrs. They want to go to Japan for a kid friendly holiday. Disneyland, Lego land etc. 7 nights Tyo and 7 nights OSA. Sep next year. Hilton TYO already booked out but wondered if the is a wholesaler doing this or FIT. Thanks in advance.

Another day cycling in the other direction on the Riviera dei Fiori which is 24 Km heading through Bussana, Stefano al Mare through S. Lorenzo to Imperia for a coffee stop and a swim for me. It used to be known as the Coastal Park of Western Liguria. Amazing bike track and lots of cyclists of all kinds. The beaches are mainly private with areas you can go swimming avoiding the fees. They are predominantly gravel crushed which is pretty tough walking and gets really hot. The water is to die for(chilly to say the least).

Keleti Train station Budapest.

Keleti Train Station in Budapest look amazing from the outside but there is only the essential needs in the inside. Very basic food and drink options, very few seats. If you want to buy tickets or need information (besides vending machines) you need to get a ticket from customer centre and wait your turn. There are more food options outside station but wouldn’t recommend staying in this area.

Arrived yesterday, this city has a great vibe, the old city is amazing, to get into the Cathedral and bell tower it is 12 Euros, the guys dressed in period costumes don’t say how much they want for photos so if you do go ahead they are very pushy. Highly recommend visiting Split, the ferry depart s to go to hvar, Bari and Ancona in Italy. Very busy little port.

Full day island lunch cruise.

Dubrovnik for 2 nights, this is enough as it is so expensive, the most expensive city we have been in. Had booked a full day Elaphite cruise with lunch. A great day and thoroughly enjoyed getting out of the old town. It included 3 islands Kolocep, Lopud and Saipan the largest of the 3 with great swimming. Very cold but it’s good for the bones. Had to pay 1 Euro for a 20 Second shower. It took us 25 minutes to walk from one side of the island to the other to get to the better beach and the locals cashing in on the tourists offering them a ride in a buggy for a few Euros.

There are 2 main tourist things you have to do in Kotor. The first a boat trip to the blue hole, via various island sight and submarine holes cut out in the side of the rock. Then there is the walk to the Castel St John up on the mountain above the old city. Your can see specks of people slowly walking up 100’s of steps, very arduous. It had to be done and had no idea how long it was going t take. I was told there is a track behind the wall that zig zag up the hill. I found the entrance which is not marked by watching people come down. I started at 3 pm it was still really hot and finally made it down at 5:30pm. I was told it is about 1 km to the first house then not far to second house which has a track going behind to the left, after that I will come to a ladder, go through the window and then keep walking up to the top. My god it was hard work, I kept asking everyone who past me how far I had to go. They were very encouraging all from around the world but certainly haven’t meet any Aussies on the Balkan trip. Mostar, so so crazy busy. Tourist bus tours from Sarajevo or Dubrovnik. Schoo tours you can hardly move. In my mind I thought it was bigger. I went this morning for a walk and was down on the waters edge when a guy jumped from the top. He had all his clothes on shoes and socks. The water flows so fast he struggled to get to the rocks. He seemed to have hurt his back and was pretty stunned. The only people around was me and the fishermen. Interesting place but I don’t believe it’s the prettiest place in Bosnia Herzegovina.

2nd day in Belgrade, Russell really unwell. He’s off to see Doctor/ clinic and I’m off for a Bike tour. Got lost walking to it 1 hours walk, 2 men kindly offered me a ride as to far to walk. I’m still here. Got off at the wrong station in the middle of a free way and finally found my way home. Russel has perforated ear drum and lots of drugs.

Arrived into Belgrade today without any mishaps except Russell really unwell. Went for a walk on my own then we went for dinner the the New Amsterdam hotel which is known for great local food and the best views of the city.
