Brings back a few memories for some of our coaches! Wearing the proud Maroon! We currently have 4 coaches that donned the great colours!

It was Community Cricket round yesterday in the Big Bash and one of our juniors was repping his Baulko roots!!

Sean Abbott played his junior cricket here at Baulko and has gone on to represent Australia 46 times in white ball cricket. He has been around the test squad for the recent Border Gavaskar Trophy and will fly to Sri Lanka for the upcoming two match test series.

A great way to celebrate a great club and the people that have made it that way! 👏👏

ROB MCLEAN CUP

Earlier in the year the club lost Rob McLean. Rob was a dedicated member of the club, and built close relationships with many of our players, coaches and supporters.

To honour his contribution to the Barbarians, Round 11 will be known as the Rob McLean Cup. This special round will see both our A Grade teams go head to head, with the winner taking home the Rob McLean Cup.

The day will be a reunion for the Old Boys previous players to the club and an invitation to all Junior players, friends, families and supporters.

There will be drinks for sale and a raffle to be drawn at the end of the day by the winning captain of the match.

Congratulations to our very own Blake Noorbergen who debuted in 1st grade over the weekend at the age of 16!

FIRST GRADE DEBUT
Congratulations to Parramatta District Cricket Clubs latest First grade debutant, Blake Noorbergen.

Blake made his debut last weekend in our Round 7 victory against Sydney at Old Kings Oval. He received his First Grade cap, number 624 which was presented by First Grade skipper Nick Bertus.

Well done Anay what an amazing achievement 🙏🙏

As part of the NSWPSSA Knockout Cricket Competition, Riverbank travelled to Bathurst for the semi-finals and grand final of the state-wide tournament.

In the semi-final, Riverbank was victorious with a score of 4/80 against Corowa’s 10/77. In a back and forth game, both teams showed a positive attitude and great sportsmanship throughout the match in an excellent display of our HIP key values. In an amazing spell of bowling, Ranvir (5-1-3-23) took a hat-trick which capped off an amazing team effort in the field. In the batting, we were led by strong innings from Anay (28), Ranvir (16) and Avi (14 not out).

In the grand final, we played against Grafton with Riverbank again emerging victorious with a score of 5/99 against Grafton’s 9/98. In a very competitive game that came down to the final overs, Riverbank was able to demonstrate outstanding perseverance and an encouraging attitude towards their teammates and opposition which was a demonstration of their ability to care for others and expecting the best of themselves, even in pressure situations. Our bowling attack was headed by a triple-wicket maiden from Avi (3-1-3-10) alongside strong support from Tirth (3-0-2-21), Ron (4-0-2-14) and Anay (5-2-2-10) who also took two wickets apiece. Our final innings was led by Tirth (33) and Ranvir (23 not out) in an excellent defence against a brilliant Grafton bowling attack supported by strong innings from the rest of the team.

This marks Riverbank’s second victory as part of the NSWPSSA State Knockout Competition after also winning the tournament in 2023! We are so proud of the efforts of all our students throughout the competition and congratulate them on such an amazing achievement!

TEAM OF THE ROUND
Round 6 was an outstanding round for the two blues with 5/5 wins against North Sydney. Pat Xie, Ryan Hackney, Nitesh Samuel and Tom MacDonald all scored significant centuries.

Multiple half centuries were also scored and Harry Willoughby, Lucas Sassen, and Michael Sullivan all took 5 or more wickets.
