Since 2005 Cuban Adventures has been dedicated to operating its own small group tours in Cuba. We are also the chosen operator for a number of world-wide travel agencies. Our tours are grass-roots in style and aimed at giving our travellers an authentic experience of Cuba's culture and society. Our guides are all local Cuban's who are university educated and all given specialised training in our s

tyle of travel and in responsible tourism. For accommodation we use mostly casas particulares, which are family run and owned guest-houses, who are proud to run their own business in Cuba and offer you the best services they can muster.

The Museum showcases the struggle both locally and nationally throughout the beginning of the Cuban Revolution in the 1950’s and has some compelling photography for all to see.

"President Biden determined Cuba no longer be designated as a State Sponsor of Terrorism - January 14,2025"

In January 2021, President Donald Trump had placed Cuba on the list of State Sponsor of Terrorism. It hit Cuba in a very difficult period, with even more financial restrictions including visas for travelers as well.

Now, with President Biden's decision to lift Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism, we can breathe a bit! This decision is important to promote more constructive diplomatic relations between the two countries and will also impact travelers to the US (ESTA Visa).

We hope 2025 will be better than recent years, that our friends, neighbors, and children will remain and we can build a better Cuba for everyone.

💰How much money should I bring to Cuba?

It is a personal matter.
If you intend to purchase many souvenirs in Cuba, or if you enjoy spending it up on a big night out, we would recommend that you take a bit more than the estimated amounts below.
In total as an estimate, where no meals or activities are included, you need to allow about: 80-100USD per day p/p for expenses.

IS CUBA A SAFE COUNTRY FOR THE LGBTQI+ COMMUNITY?

Could the LGBTQi+ tourists be open with Cubans about their sexuality during their trip?

Although Cuba is a conservative socialist country, it has stood out among other Caribbean countries by providing more rights to Homosexuals and transgender people.

The island has been undergoing a long process of sexual education that focuses on health rights as well as a legal process of criminalising homophobia and combating discrimination against homosexuals.

Currently Cuba has many bars and LGBT nightclubs are much more welcoming to this community

Viñales is located in the heart of Cuba’s Western most province, Pinar del Rio, and 182km from Havana.

Vinales is a national park and the most visited place in the province. Workers will be manning horse and carts as they collect goods whilst house owners far into the rural areas will gently sway back and forth in their rocking chairs whilst on their porch.
Vinales is a perfect example of the work ‘behind the scenes’ that produces Cuba's crops as any farming town would be, but the authentic production of the world famous Cuban ci**rs gives Vinales a unique selling point.

Hurricane Rafael passed through Cuba, causing some damage, but no deaths were recorded. Since the country has annual cyclone seasons, the government and the people are well aware of the necessary procedures to ensure that lives are not lost.
But unfortunately,this was not the only difficult event this week. The elections in the United States directly affect us, the Cuban people. I have great faith and hope that we will be able to move forward, because we are resilient.
