After some slow partner visa processing period for citizens of Afghanistan, the Department seem to start granting some visas. Two families were granted their visas this week, and one last week. Hoping this will continue. These applications were lodged in Oct 2023, and were residing either in Afghanistan or Iran.

This week seems to be partner visa grant week. Today, so far visas of 9 families have been granted.
هفته‌ی خوبی برای متقاضیان ویزای همسر خواهد بود. از صبح تا حالا ویزای نه (۹) فامیل توسط وزارت مهاجرت صادر کرده است. آنهایی که ویزایشان صادر شده اند همه ساکن افغانستان بودند و بررسی پرونده شان بین ۸-۱۲ ماه زمان برده است.

تغییرات اخیر در قانون مهاجرت که اجازه می‌دهد فرزندان بالای ۲۳ سال از طریق ویزای همسر اسپانسر شوند، فقط شامل آن پرونده‌هایی اند که اسپانسر از طریق کشتی آمده و قبل از ۶ فبروری ۲۰۲۳ درخواست داده بودند. آنهایی که بعد از این تاریخ درخواست داده‌اند متاسفانه شامل این قانون نمی‌شود.

Ending the week with good news for two of our clients today.

1. First AAT hearing for a protection visa applicant happened in Dec 2023. Hearing was adjourned for today 2 PM. Got a call from AAT today that the hearing is cancelled and the Member has made a positive decision on the case.

2. Citizenship applicant with significant criminal history had applied for citizenship himself before and refused on character ground. We lodged the application again and provided argument as to why his application be approved. Got the approval today.

Everyone is asking me how many of your clients have been granted ROS visa. Since 21 Feb 2023, 26 clients have been granted an ROS visa. We are hoping for more visas to be granted by the end of the year.

همه از من می‌پرسند که چند نفر از کلاینت‌های شما ویزای دایمی ROS دریافت کرده اند. از ماه فبروری تا حالا ۲۶ نفر ویزای ROS دریافت کرده‌اند. انتظار داریم که ویزاهای بیشتر طی چند ماه دیگر صادر شود.

Last week was partner visa grant week, with 12 partner visas (3 families) granted. Applications lodged in 2015-2017.

And today, it looks like to be ROS visa grant day. Two granted today so far.

It was a very good week for our clients with 12 partner and 3 Resoloution of Status (ROS) visa grants and one citizenship approval.

Immigration seems to actively work on visa applications by applicants who are citizens of Afghanistan.

If the applicant meets these criteria, they can put an expression of interest:

1. Aged 18-50
2. Understands some English
3. If from Afghanistan, resides outside the country, for example in Pakistan, India, Turkey, Malaysia
4. Demonstrate fear of harm in country of citizenship
5. Have an eligible Australian supporter
6. Some other requirements.

از امروز، تقریبا همه کسانی که ویزای سه/پنج ساله دارند و هنوز برای ویزای بعدی (سه/پنج ساله یا دایمی) درخواست نداده اند، الان می‌توانند برای ویزای دایمی درخواست بدهند. اگر برای بار دوم برای ویزای سه/پنج ساله درخواست داده اید و هنوز بررسی نشده، نیاز نیست دوباره درخواست بدهید چون درخواستی قبلی شما برای ویزای دایمی بررسی می‌شود. بررسی ویزای دایمی روی نوبت پیش می‌رود. مثلا آن‌هایی که ۲۰۱۸ برای ویزای سه/پنج ساله درخواست داده بودند و هنوز جواب نگرفته اند، بررسی ویزای دایمی‌شان در اولویت اند. آن‌هایی که پارسال یا امسال درخواست داده‌اند یا درخواست می‌دهند، باید چندین ماه صبر کنند تا نوبت شان برسد.

بعضی‌ها زنگ می‌زنند و می‌پرسند که این ویزای دایمی برای کسی که قبلا ویزای موقتی سه/پنج ساله داشته صادر شده است؟ بله.

ویزای دایمی مرحله به مرحله و به مرور زمان صادر خواهد شد. از قراین این طور به نظر می‌رسد آنهایی که برای ویزای سه/پنج ساله در سال‌های ۲۰۱۸ و به ترتیب سال‌های ۲۰۱۹، ۲۰۲۰ … درخواست داده و هنوز منتظر هستند، در اولویت خواهند بود. کسی که امروز ویزای دایمی‌اش صادر شده، در نوامبر ۲۰۱۸ برای ویزه پنج‌ساله درخواست داده بود.
