Too many Dogtooth around this size and you become spoiled. They are merely pests whilst waiting for the prime current that will bring his mother and father. Plenty of hearts broken this trip but a few larger models evened up the score. Pat Elliot with his first ever PNG Dogtooth on spinning jigging tackle.

Did you know that Napoleon Wrasse can live to 30 years in age and grow in excess of 300lb? We are looking forward to developing a new best practices and conservation program for this species over the coming year when the world returns to normal. This specimen was a by-catch whilst fishing for Dogtooth Tuna - it was revived and released. The biggest threat is illegal keep and sale mentality for international markets (not recreational fisherman!)⁣⁣⁣
