Such a happy surprise on today's tour to see this fabulous awning sculpture back in place. For months they've been partially visible through the upper story windows forlornly looking out but today they were shining in their rightful place 😍🌟

This grand Dame turns 100 today. hosted a fabulous tour & history talk from Mark plus an enthusiastic performance of the Wurlitzer - swipe to see some video. Victoria told her story about how Winged Victory was saved. I'm thrilled the sprung ballroom floor is still in excellent condition - perfect for 's proposal the town hall becomes a multicultural performance hub and live music venue.

One of the benefits of doing walking tours in #marrickville is meeting the local food providors and boy, there are a LOT of passionate, small scale producers making thoughtful, sustainable and delicious products. This @keentownproject chutney is one of my favourites and here it's making my BLT sing.
