Announced today!

END OF AN ERA AS P&O CRUISES AUSTRALIA BRAND TO BE RETIRED

Carnival Corp to absorb and sunset 90-year-old P&O Cruises Australia brand.

Carnival Corporation will retire the 90-year-old P&O Cruises Australia brand in a major strategic shakeup revealed today.

Effective from Mar 2025, all P&O Cruises Australia operations will be folded into Carnival Cruise Line, effectively doubling the brand's presence in Australia.

Pacific Encounter and Pacific Adventure will be rebranded as Carnival Cruise Line ships, with Pacific Explorer to exit the fleet.

Both ships will operate alongside Carnival Splendor and Carnival Luminosa, with no changes forecasted for either of the two existing Carnival Cruise Line ships.

The move does not impact P&O Cruises UK in any way, the company said.

Impacted guests will be notified in the coming days of any changes to future bookings.

Absolutely stunning! This is called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Its enormous!
There are lots of helicopter tours into the Canyon - in one of my photos you can see one of them. We chose to hike the 3 hours up and down to a ridge, where we also got to stand on the edge of a waterfall.

Such an incredible experience! Definitely a must-do if you’re planning a trip to Kauai.

We had a great day visiting the North Shore of Oahu. We stopped at a Macadamia nut farm which had dozens of chickens running around. Bought lots of different flavoured macadamia nuts (most of which have already been eaten!).

Then fantastic snorkelling at Shark Cove. So many fish and we even swam with a turtle! Beautiful shades of blue water.

Lunch at the famous North Shore food trucks. Lemon butter shrimp and yummy Shave Ice!

Kayaking down the river next, we saw a few more turtles swimming alongside us. They are beautiful to see!

Then the day ended with a lovely sunset and beachfront fireworks! So many people sitting along the beach to watch this every Friday night.

I’ve just returned from an amazing trip to Iceland! What a fantastic country! The scenery was out of this world!

We did a 10 day self-drive around the entire island; saw some stunning sights. Waterfalls (there are dozens!), reindeer, Icelandic ponies (we even managed to ride them), thermal pools, glaciers and icebergs and the most incredible of all, the Northern Lights!!!

I’ve posted some photos of the highlights. I took almost 1000!!

If you are looking for your next holiday destination, definitely put Iceland on your list! The entire country is gorgeous, the people are so friendly, and it’s one of the safest countries in the world. The food is totally organic as the island is so isolated, so no diseases - the animals are not vaccinated or have any hormones added. And the water is straight from the glaciers and is so pure and refreshing!

We stayed in a lovely city overnight called Akureyri- the second largest in Iceland. Mountains all around and a gorgeous lake, and all the houses overlooking both! Even the ducks have a little house!

Then we got to experience riding an Icelandic pony!!! They are so shaggy with their long manes! A lovely easy ride to a little waterfall. So much fun!
