🚨 Only a Few Spots Left – Ningaloo Reef Awaits! 🐋⛺

Some trips are just different. Kayaking crystal-clear waters, snorkelling with whale sharks, camping under endless stars—this is Ningaloo Reef, and it’s the kind of adventure you’ll still be talking about in 10 years.

You won’t find crowds. No packed tour boats. Just wild, untouched beauty—and a group of women who get it.

🌊 Paddle to places no one else goes.
🐋 Swim with the biggest fish in the ocean.
🔥 Camp in a secluded base camp (yes, everything’s set up for you).
✨ End the trip in a 4.5-star resort with a shower that feels heavenly after a week of salty hair and sandy toes.

There are just a couple of spots left before the trip is sold out. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Perfect River Levels + A Whole Lot of Laughs! 🚣‍♀️✨

Monday re-cap! (Because we’re usually out on the water all weekend! 😉)

Saturday’s kayak trip was pure magic. The river levels were spot on, the sun was shining, and the wildlife put on a show—water dragons everywhere, a couple of sea eagles soaring above, and even some lyrebirds. Add in a whole lot of fresh air and laughter, and it was the perfect way to kick off 2025 (wait… how are we already in February?!).

📅 Next trips:👉 Saturday 13th April – 1 spot left!👉 Saturday 30th November – Our final trip of the year… maybe.

Guide Mon is expecting a bub this year (yay! 🎉), so we have fewer dates on the calendar. But if all goes well, she’s hoping to add another date around October—stay tuned! Anyone want to baby sit!?

💛 A special shoutout to the women who reunited on this trip after meeting on the Ningaloo Whale Shark adventure—this is exactly what this community is about! Seeing friendships continue beyond our trips makes us so happy.

Ever Camped in Nepal With a bunch of women and a few baby goats!? 🏔️⛺

👉 Picture this: you’re sitting around a campfire in the Himalayas, sipping ginger tea after a long day of trekking.

Someone’s lost their headlamp, someone else is laughing so hard they’ve forgotten their boots are still on (maybe it’s the altitude!), and the stars above look like they’re straight out of a movie.

This is the magic of our Pikey Peak Women’s Trek.

👉 Comment ‘PEAK25’ below and we’ll send you extra information!

✨ Why It’s Special:

* Waking up to Everest views while your camp team hands you a warm cup of tea.
* Trekking with women who just get it—it’s all laughs, encouragement, and “are you sure there’s no Wi-Fi?”.
* A none-tourist location. No crowds. Off the beaten track. Amazing views.

✨ What You Need to Know:

📅 When: 14th–24th October 2025
🥾 Trek Time: 6 days, 5–9 hours a day (you’ll earn those post-hike MoMo’s).
⛺ Accommodation: Camps under the stars + tea houses + Kathmandu Guest House pre and post trek.
🏔️ Maximum Altitude: 4,080m (don’t worry, we go slow and steady!).

✨ 3 Nepal Trekking Tips You’ll Thank Us For:

1️⃣ Guides & Permits Are Required: Nepal’s new rule = safety first, and we handle it all for you!

We were treated to something special on Sunday! 🛶

Whilst the river levels were too high to run the rapids we explored the Tallowa Dam, Lake Yarrunga area. An ancient landscape of sandstone cliffs deep in the valley.

The high water levels and still calm conditions made for some great reflections and amazing paddling conditions.

Thank you to all the adventurers that joined (and those who flew up from Victoria and made a weekend out of it!).

See you all in Antarctica!!! 🤣🤣… or on the next one!!!

Next available dates for Kangaroo Valley:
👉 Sunday 13th April
👉 Sunday 30th November

What’s stopping you from getting outside more this year? 🥾✨

We get it—life is busy, and weekends fill up fast. There’s always something—a birthday, a lunch, or a never-ending to-do list. But here’s the thing: what about YOU?

You deserve time to recharge, reset, and reconnect with yourself. And here’s the secret to making it happen: commit to planning it in.

Look at your calendar, pick a weekend, and lock it in—yes, even if “something might come up.”

Spoiler: something always comes up. But when you prioritise yourself and make that commitment, you’ll feel amazing. Having something to look forward to, like a day hike or a little weekend campout, will leave you feeling re-energised and more present for the people and things you care about.

Starting an overnight hike (or any new adventure) can feel a bit daunting at first. That’s why going with a group—especially for your first time—makes it so much easier and way more fun!

Here are 3 simple tips to help you get started:

1️⃣ Pack Smart and Keep It Simple
Start with a bag or even a box at home. Begin collecting small essentials: socks, a hat, hiking poles, water bottles. You don’t have to buy everything at once—tick items off bit by bit.
You can hike in tights. You could even hike in cotton (though we don’t recommend it). Maybe your first step is treating yourself to a merino T-shirt. BINGO—one step closer!

2️⃣ Get Your Footwear Right
Comfortable, well-fitting shoes are the most critical piece of gear. They need to provide traction, comfort, and durability. If you’re starting out and on a budget, heavy-duty runners will do just fine. A professional fitting can help you avoid blisters and misery (trust us, your feet will thank you!).

3️⃣ Learn About Your Destination
Use apps like AllTrails, Organic Maps, or Maps.Me to plan your route. National Parks websites also provide great info on the best trails, seasonal conditions, and things to watch for—like river crossings after heavy rain. Join Facebook hiking groups to ask questions and learn from others who’ve been before.

What do you get when you mix nature, Anzac biscuits, and 30 women on a Sunday morning?

A day full of fresh air, good company, and a walk through the beautiful trails of Woronora Reserve 🌿.

Here’s what a few of the women shared today:

👉 “I’ve been eyeing WWA trips for ages. Now that my youngest has finished her HSC, this year is my year—and I finally came along!”

👉 “I don’t do as much for myself anymore. My husband goes cycling, but I haven’t really found my thing. That’s why I’m here and want to change that!”.

It’s not always easy to prioritise yourself, is it? But today, you did. You made space for fresh air, meaningful conversations, and connection—and that’s no small thing.

Community matters, and so does doing something that makes you happy 💛.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today. These moments are what it’s all about.

P.S. Monique forgot to mention the WWA shirts, but they’re on the website under “Shop” if you’d like one! Link in bio 🔗

This morning’s Katoomba Falls meetup was something special from all that rain 🌧️

To all you amazing women who showed up to connect with strangers-turned-trail-friends, thank you for making it such a wonderful day! Despite the fog rolling through (classic Blue Mountains!), those misty views had their own magic—and the company made it even better. 🌿

At Women Want Adventure, it’s not just about the trails; it’s about creating a space where every woman feels safe, valued, and supported—exactly as they are. 💛 Our community is for every woman, from all walks of life, and we’re proud to nurture a culture of kindness, respect, and connection in the outdoors.

Couldn’t make it today? No worries—there are plenty more adventures ahead! Guide Zoe (you may have met her today!) will be leading many of our mountain and overnight trips here in the Blue Mountains.

This morning’s community walk at White Sands, Jervis Bay, was such a lovely way to start the day!

🐬 We spotted dolphins (and yes, a couple of cheeky leeches 🪱) and caught up with many familiar faces from over the past 10 years. Shoutout to legends like Marg and Cheryl—just to name a couple!

Thanks to everyone who joined us. We beat the rain, enjoyed a beautiful stroll along the beach, and shared some great moments together. Can’t wait to see you all on more adventures throughout the year! 💛✨

Every year, we head to the breathtaking Ningaloo Reef for an adventure that combines kayaking, camping ⛺️, snorkelling, and swimming with the awe-inspiring Whale Sharks .

From the moment you step off the plane at the tiny desert airport and head into the stunning Cape Range National Park, the colours hit you: the deep red sands of the desert meeting the vibrant blues of the reef 🌊. It's the kind of view that feels like a warm welcome from nature itself.

🏕 For five nights, we call our base camp home . Think cosy tents, delicious meals (designed to fuel your days of adventure), and the kind of camaraderie that makes it all unforgettable. Days are spent kayaking along the reef , stopping to snorkel with green turtles 🐢, and marvelling at the hundreds of fish species 🐠🐟.

When conditions are right, we paddle out to remote outer reef snorkel spots—places you can only reach by kayak . These hidden gems? Far from the crowds, they make you feel like you've stumbled upon your own private slice of the ocean.

Evenings are spent back at camp, sharing stories and laughter 😂 as the sun dips below the horizon. It’s about more than just adventure; it’s about connecting—with nature, with new friends, and with yourself. This trip isn’t just a getaway; it’s a moment to recharge and rediscover what you’re capable of.

And then… there are the Whale Sharks. Swimming alongside these gentle giants is surreal—an experience that’s hard to put into words. But here’s the thing: as mind-blowing as swimming with Whale Sharks is, we often hear from women that the vibrant reef, with its incredible snorkelling spots, is just as memorable. That says a lot!
Every single day here feels like a story you’ll tell for the rest of your life.

Ningaloo is a reminder of just how lucky we are to live in this incredible country.
