Hey guys, I'm Natascha (24) and come from Germany near Münster and have this summer finished my training as a nurse. I arrived in Sydney 6 weeks ago. I was in Sydney for 3 weeks. At the moment I am in the working hostel in Griffith and waiting for a farm job to collect my 88 days. I take you the next two days with me and look forward to the questions and inspire you with my experiences so far.

Ein must see in der Mackay Region: der Cape Hillsborough National Park!😍
Am besten startet ihr den Ausflug so früh am Morgen 🌅, dass ihr vor Sonnenaufgang am Strand seid. Denn dort werden zum Sonnenaufgang handaufgezogene Wallabys und Kangaroos 🦘gefüttert. Die Tiere haben keine Angst vor Menschen, sodass es möglich ist, die Tiere aus nächster Nähe beim Fressen zu beobachten. Nach dem Fressen verschwinden die Tiere nach und nach in den Wald🌳🌴.
Vom Strand aus beginnt bei niedriger Tide der Wanderweg zum Andrews Point. Ist die Tide niedrig genug, kann der Wanderweg als Rundweg gelaufen werden und ist dann 5,2 Kilometer lang. Er beinhaltet viele Stufen, aber die Aussichten lohnen sich allemal🥰! Vom Andrews Point aus kann man bei niedriger Tide auf Wedge Island 🏖rüber laufen. Sollte die Tide zu hoch sein, ist die Aussicht dennoch fantastisch. Wenn der Wasserspiegel zu hoch ist, führt ein anderer Weg in der Nähe des Parkplatzes hoch auf den Berg. Von dort erreicht man den Twin Beach und den Turtle Lookout. Die Aussichten sind einfach fanatisch! Wenn man genau hingucket, entdeckt man, dass nicht alle Felsen Felsen sind, sondern Schildkröten🐢, die die Ruhe genießen.
Solltet ihr unter der Woche dort sein und euch am Andrews Point befinden, kann man dort fast ungestört schwimmen🏊🏼‍♀️, denn es kommt kaum ein Mensch vorbei 😊
