We invite you to join us on this 9-day walking holiday in vibrant Sardinia, an island of beautiful beaches, turquoise sea, fascinating rock formations, lively locals, and delicious food.
Commencing in the Sardinian port of Olbia we travel to Luogosanto. This will be our inland mountain base for four nights from where each day we set out to visit a different area of the northern coast - The geo-marine protected area of La Maddalena Archipelago National Park known for its blue and green waters, pink beaches, and tiny islets; and the Costa Rossa on the northwest Gallura coast.
We visit Nuoro, known as ‘Sardinia’s Athens’, and will be based at the beachside village of Cala Gonone for the next five nights. From there we walk to stunning coastal coves and use local boats to appreciate remote sections of the Orosei Gulf. Our inland walks explore the Supramonte, a wild limestone dolomitic mountain chain which is part of Gennargentu National Park, an area which boasts forests of juniper, yew and holm oak; the karst spring of Su Gologone, and the limestone cliffs of Gorroppu Gorge, the ‘Grand Canyon of Europe’.
