Tamworth Aero Club Tamworth Aero Club is arguably this city's oldest being started in 1930's. It's also the smallest, no argument there. We have a wide range of beers and wines.

The Club is right next door to the terminal. It's a great little spot to wait for your plane or to meet up with your mates after a flight.Our views accross the north west country side, are second to none. Everyone is welcome; bring your granny or your girlfriend - its that sort of place. Each year during the famous Tamworth Country Music Festival the
club invites those wanting exposure and experie

nce to 'walk up' and perform
backed by a band organised in conjunction with Wild Country Management. The atmosphere we have to offer, you simply could not buy; friendly, welcoming and fun. It's like sitting around at home with your mates and your music. No big budget program here; performers are fed and get to sign 'the wall'. The club has recently purchased an Evector Sportstar for a flight training program in an attempt to assist and help develop upcoming pilots alike. So come in to where the staff are your friends and more than happy to assist with any inquiries. Everyone welcome from 4pm daily!

Update for our followers, firstly we would like to apologise for the time it’s taken to get you an update but the process of moving our licence is taking longer than we expected. What we can say is we have lodged for the licence to be moved, we have met with the local Police Licencing team and they gave us great feedback and endorsed the move. We are now in the hands of Liquor and Gaming. We are as keen as you are to get back open so we can enjoy our new facility.

The Aero Club board members would like to thank all of the members that attended the AGM on Sunday. We very much appreciated you all taking a few hours out of your Sunday to show support for the club. We also welcomed all of your questions regarding the future of the club and appreciated your positive feedback on the current plans. We had the pleasure of some of the Kootingal CWA Ladies for a Luncheon and Tour of The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service today, Thank you to Tamworth Westpac rescue Helicopter Base for the tour, Shuttlelink Tamworth for transportation, Our Chef Extraordinaire for the lovely Lunch, and CWA ladies for a wonderful Day.
