Photos of my stay at the Legian Beach Hotel in their Grand Premier Pool Villa – an incredible tropical getaway. Here’s what stood out:

• 🏡 Private luxury – the villa comes with its own pool, spacious interiors, and a relaxing outdoor lounge area. Perfect for unwinding in total privacy.
• 🌺 Balinese charm – the decor beautifully blends traditional and modern elements, giving it a cozy yet luxurious feel.
• 🍹 Personalized service – the staff went above and beyond, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. Housekeeping, gardeners, pool cleaners, even someone to attend to the orchids in the room.
• 🌊 Prime location – just steps from the beach and close to great dining and shopping spots, but the villa within the resort was tucked away enough to feel serene.

A perfect mix of comfort, style and authentic Balinese hospitality. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape. ☀️

Andaz Bali, by Hyatt in Sanur. Following up the previous video with some photos of the room and resort.

One of the hotels I stayed at during my recent Bali trip was the by Hyatt in Sanur. Their Signature room was a true oasis in Bali. Here’s a look at what made it special:

• 🛏️ Stylish room design – the room had a spacious layout with local touches, and a calming vibe.
• 🍫 Replenished minibar - each day the non alcoholic beverages were replaced.
• ✨ Other room features - welcome fruit plate, Nespresso coffee machine, Tea Pot, 2 minibar fridges - one empty for your own items.
• 🧘 Relaxing amenities – beautiful pool areas, serene spa, and easy access to the beach for sunset walks.
• 🍜 Fabulous dining options – from traditional Balinese dishes to seafood, along with casual dining the restaurants here made every meal feel like an experience. The a la breakfast was a treat!
• 🌴 Lush surroundings – the grounds are filled with tropical greenery, creating a secluded, peaceful escape.

All in all, a wonderful mix of luxury and local charm at Andaz Bali. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this property!

I’ve just returned from Bali travelling .indonesia business class, and cannot fault the experience.

• ✈️ Spacious seats – fully reclinable and perfect for getting some rest. Configuration is 1-2-1.
• 🧳 Checked baggage allowance of 40kg for all your shopping
• 🏄 Sports equipment allowance of 23kg in addition to regular baggage allowance (also applicable for economy class).
• 🍽️ Delicious meals and snacks
• 😊 Attentive crew – friendly and always ready to help
• 💺 Lounge access utilising the SkyTeam Lounge in Sydney and the Garuda Lounge in Denpasar
• ⏰ On time flights!

Overall, a smooth and relaxing trip with Garuda Indonesia. Looking forward to the next one!

Last week I was in Cairns for the TravelManagers annual conference and the theme this year was Working Smarter. The event kicked off with Christine Anu and a keynote by Chelsea Pottenger and closed with a Q&A with superstar Cathy Freeman OAM. In between, fabulous presentations by PTM’s, our NPO and our lovely industry suppliers. Finishing with a gala dinner to celebrate those who have excelled this past year. A fantastic few days of catching up, networking and lots of laughs. See you all in Bali 2025. 💛🧡💙💚
