Girrakool Blues Festival & BBQ, 6-8 March 2020. Massive Line-up, International and Interstate bands, 3 Days camping, Sunday Family Fun Day -boot throwing, pie eating competition, the oar toss & Aboriginal Cultural Activities. Girrakool Blues Festival is an annual event named after the nearby waterfalls, and quite befittingly is Aboriginal for “Place of still water” i.e. Muddy Water, will be held annually on the first weekend in March by Xabc Entertainment. In a New Orleans styled theme, the Festival will offer a wonderful day of quality, international, national and local blues and roots acts, on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW in a family friendly, relaxed atmosphere, all at a reasonable price. The music will be the main focus over Friday Night and from Midday to Midnight Saturday, and will feature International as well as the the cream of Australian Blues, Rock and Roots Acts.
While patrons dance and rock the night away, BBQ teams from across Australia will get serious as they stoke their BBQ’s and start cooking their competition meat long into the night and the morning.
Come Sunday to the Big BBQ Family Fun Day, with Demonstrations, pie eating competition, boot throwing & oar tossing BBQ Food & Market Stalls, More Music & Kids Activities.
