Further carparking is available at one of the village overnight car parks. The centre of Thredbo village is only a 2-minute walk away. It is a 30-minute drive to Jindabyne and a 50-minute drive to Perisher Valley.

The first snowfall of the year is likely across our alpine districts tomorrow, most likely during the early morning as a southerly change makes it way across the state.

As the change moves through during Tuesday morning, a low-pressure system will then develop off the NSW coast, which will strengthen winds across the coastal strip in NSW later Tuesday into Wednesday.

The strongest winds should impact exposed areas along the Sydney Metro, Hunter and lower Mid-North Coast coastlines on Tuesday night and Wednesday.

TVT mt bike trail section closed
Monday February 12

The Thredbo Valley Track will be closed from 09:00am to 03:00pm on Monday 12 February 2024 between Thredbo Resort and Ngarigo Campground. The track will remain open from Ngarigo Campground to Gaden Trout Hatchery.

This closure is required to undertake necessary maintenance works adjacent to the track.
