The Tocumwal Visitor Information Centre is centrally located in the township within a stone’s throw of the Murray River and the beautiful main street. Our staff and volunteers are passionate about the region and they have an intimate knowledge of all there is to see and do. They know all the main attractions but they are also familiar with the hidden gems and little-known, out-of-the-way places th

at you can explore. The Centre is based in Tocumwal but represents the other towns of the Berrigan Shire, Finley, Berrigan and Cobram(VIC) Barooga. The Centre was established in 2022 and was the last shopfront to open in the new Tocumwal Foreshore Building. This building replaces a much smaller one-story version that previously housed the Visitor Information Centre.

The Foreshore market is on this Saturday from 8am to 1:30pm, so come have a hunt through the stalls.🧐

If you'd rather catch your own find yourself, why not partake in the Tocumwal Fishing Classic on the same day? 6am-4pm. 🐟🎣

But wait, there's MORE! It's also the Great Australia Day DUCK RACE for 2025 this Saturday! The ducks release from noon at the new boat ramp, so be there or be square. 🦆🏆

We were honoured to witness the corroboree at Bullanginya Dreaming. Uncle Dozer mentioned that the last one took place 167 years ago. Partnering with Sporties Barooga, this event has united Australians from all walks of life.

As we arrived, we were greeted by the sight of a stunning camping area, nestled amidst the beauty of nature. The campers were peacefully lounging under the shade of the trees, seeking refuge from the hot sun. A vast expanse of sand led the way to the tranquil river, creating a soothing and picturesque setting. Bouchiers Beach (River Murray Reserve), off Green Lane on the Victorian side.
