19th April 2023- FOLLOWING OUR WW1 Soldiers- with extensions to Normandy and Paris .
The tour is flexible so that you are able to all of the tour, part of the package or even a few days. (Contact Sue McPherson for costs)
This tour will take in significant Australian WW1 battlefields in Turkey, France and Belgium.
The tour includes Anzac Day service at Gallipoli and some of Turkeys iconic sites. Our visit to the Gallipoli Peninsular will open your eyes to what our soldiers encountered when they were there and how they survived , their battles, friendships and their resting place.
Find out about Turkey's history, sights, sounds and exotic smells of Turkey from Ancient, Biblical and Modern times.
Our visit to France and Belgium will have Colin Gillard our Experienced Australian Battlefields Guide, who has been tramping the Western Front for over 30 years. Colin has great knowledge of this area is very passionate about our Aussie Soldiers and their role in WW1 both in France and Belgium .

REMEMBERING OUR SOLDIERS.
The past few years has seen a lot of changes in travelling and now people are starting to tour the world
Colin Gillard (Cobbers Tours Western Front) and Sue McPherson (Cobbers Tours Australia) are joining forces to offer WW1 and WW2 battlefield tours to Gallipoli, Western Front, Normandy, Europe , Thailand, Asia and much more.

We are proud to announce that we have put together a comprehensive tour of Turkey, Gallipoli and The Western Front, incorporating ANZAC Day 2023 Gallipoli. We will both be travelling with the tour to ensure that you have a memorable trip and are able to remember our soldiers on the soil where they fought.

Colin is our Australian Battlefields Guide on the Western Front and Sue will be your Battlefields Guide at Gallipoli.

Some of you may have travelled with Colin in the Western Front and you know of his knowledge and professional integrity.

Sue has been to Gallipoli many times for ANZAC Day and knows the peninsular well.

At Gallipoli we will be governed by the Turkish Government as to the length of touring at ANZAC Cove but we will see the main points relevant to our Soldiers and will try to cover as much as possible. On the Western Front we will tour battlefield sites and cemeteries.

Be mindful that the campaign was long and there were many battles so it is impossible to see all. We will show you as much as we can in the short time. If you have a visit to a cemetery we will need to know ahead of time to ensure we can fit the visit into our itinerary.

Should you wish to extend your trip to visit D Day landings in Normandy and Dunkirk, Colin is able to offer an optional touring.

Earlier this year we had a wonderful trip to Tasmania visiting the East Coast. So I have organised a trip back in February 2022 and will do the West Coast and revisit some of the places visited in Hobart and the surrounds . Best of all we travel to King Island and some wineries, cruise Gordon River and much much more. We travel on direct flights out of and into Brisbane. We had a great day shopping on our day tour to Pittsworth, Clifton, Rosewood and Laidley. The country shops were really pleased to see us and so grateful.

Friday 10 September "Shop at Stanthorpe" day tour. $55.00 per person based on 10 passengers. We will travel to Stanthorpe and shop til we drop. Visit the Christmas Tree Farm and if Covid restrictions are lifted visit the Lavender Farm. If you are interest please contact Sue 0407344128

Hello and its been such a busy time with travel restrictions because of Covid. But that doesn't stop me planning tours. Just a few tours coming up are Central Australia 12 October 2021 , Eromanga Land of Dinosaurs - will be interesting to meet the new dinosaur fossils that have recently been found. 01st November 2021. Tasmania 16th February 2022. If there are any ladies that would like to go on a girls only tour, I work closely with Girls on Tour and they have some fabulous tours for 2022. If you have a small group and want to travel together I can arrange this for you. All you need is minimum of 6 people and a destination.
