HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO US!
Normally, we would be celebrating our birthday in style with our annual Customer Appreciation night. Sadly that's not possible this year. While it's been a very challenging year for Flight Centre Torquay, we are thankful for the continued support from our clients through this crazy time. Also a special shout out to our travel consultant Matt who celebrates a birthday today as well.

We have had a busy few weeks processing refunds and credits for our clients. To date the team have either partially refunded, fully refunded or issued credits for 367 bookings. That’s an additional 100 bookings since last month.

Now that regional Victorians can travel within the state, we hope you’ve had a chance to explore our own beautiful Victorian backyard, with a STATECATION. If not, feel free to drop in to chat to us about your regional Victorian travel plans. Whether it’s a road trip down the Great Ocean Road, an indulgent vacation to Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges or exploring all that Gippsland and Lakes Entrance has to offer, we are here to help with your travel plans.

While we wait for the state and international borders to open, we’d love to hear about where you’re dreaming of travelling next.

Just a handful of the amazing trips we’ve had to cancel due to COVID. 😢 The Flight Centre Torquay team (Emma, Craig, Amanda and Matt) have been working hard to help clients secure refunds or credits with suppliers or re-schedule trips for over 300 bookings. To date the team have either partially refunded, fully refunded or issued credits for 263 of those bookings. There is still a way to go as we wait on funds back from suppliers or policies to be updated but we are getting there. Thank you to our amazing customers who have popped in to check we are ok and who have been so understanding during this difficult time. We are looking forward to the day we can book our clients amazing international and domestic trips again.

🇦🇺 Broome, Western Australia 🇦🇺

Travel Consultant Amanda visited Broome in May last year:

There is a lot on offer in this little coastal town. Cable Beach is famous for its crystal clear waters and white sand.

🐪 At sunset you can take a camel ride along the beach

🍸If that's not your cup of tea, watch the sunset from Cable Beach Resort's beachfront bar.

🦖 Walk in the footsteps of dinosaurs at Gantheaume Point, a five minute drive from Broome. The views from this point are spectacular.

🦕 If you want a unique experience, book a hovercraft tour to see the dinosaur footprints in the mudflats off of Gantheaume Point.

🐬 Take a sunset cruise in Roebuck bay to see snub nose dolphins. Broome has the largest known population of these cute and rare dolphins.

🐋 If you're lucky you might even spot a humpback whale or sea turtle as well. 🐢

🎥 Watch a movie at Sun Pictures, the world's oldest picture garden still in operation.

🍿 Sun Pictures screens multiple movies each night. If you are an aviation enthusiast it also happens to be under Broome Airports flight path, which makes for an interesting movie experience! ✈️
