Alright we have been approved for our certificate of operation for "Twitch" a little 5.8m flats and sheltered water boat we purchased to focus on the guys that want do a more personal guiding experience. Being affordable for 1 but comfortable fishing 2 adults plus guide its going to be a good boat for us. We have had it approved for night operations as well, so that will help for the hot summer evening sessions down on the impoundments. I was lucky enough to get to take it out just before season close and have a solo session breaking the boat in with its first Salty Metery under my ownership at 102cm. Its been hard to keep this under wraps but it's time to let the cat out of the bag. We still have that 5 day trip free in February so get in touch and let's go and try and get you one. 🎣

Odds On Fishing Adventures now has a 5.8m Barra and Flats boat. Catering to 1 or 2 clients looking to sportsfish for Barramundi on the flats, rivers and lakes. It will be a nice complementry vessel to our business core a 7.7m Stoney Creek Crossover Hull that will be arriving early next year. Over the next few months we will give the vessel a tidy up and change a few things to suit our business needs.

For those that like to target Spanish Mackerel and Wahoo. We call them and the lessor Mackeral species the Razor Gang. This is a prime example of a typical attack on their prey items. Disable the prey then they may or may not come back in for a second feeding. If this is happening to your baits put a stinger back further under the tail wrist. Hook up rates will go up. 👇👇👇👇

For those seeking information on Fishing in Cardwell. Cardwell is located two hours north of Townsville at the northern end of Hinchinbrook Channel, the area presents a range of fishing opportunities. The Hinchinbrook Channel is notable for its estuary species, such as Barramundi and Mangrove Jack, while the Great Barrier Reef, further offshore, features an array of fish species, including Coaral Trout and Red Emperor on the bottom and Giant Trevally to Spanish Mackerel up top. What a awesome hull that Ian Moody has just had completed from Stoney Creek Boatworks. We will be excited to offer our own guiding services with our very own sister vessel to this in 2025. Such an awesome platform for 4-6 anglers with a few modifications to suit our needs.
