Queensland owned and operated by the Campbell family, Magnetic Island Ferries is a subsidiary of the Australian marine specialist group, Riverside Marine, which was founded in 1926.

🌊🏝 Meet Maggie – Unlocking the Secrets, Sharing the Magic! 🌟
🏝One of the best ways to explore Magnetic Island is on foot👣.
🚶There are abundant walking tracks to enjoy. 26 kilometres of walking trails, in fact. They take you through Magnetic Island National Park, along the coast, and even past koalas🐨! A network of walking tracks and trails allows you to appreciate the island's natural environment through leisurely coastal walks or more or more physically challenging hikes in the hills.
You can find different graded walking tracks in Arcadia, Forts Junction, Horseshoe Bay, Nelly Bay, Picnic Bay, West Point.
Our top 5 walks include -
🚶1. The Forts Walk (most popular as your bound to spot a koala).
🚶2. Nelly Bay to Arcadia – Gabul Way. The sea views are amazing.
🚶3. Hawkings Point. It’s a great spot to watch the sunset over Townsville. But the 360-degree island views are breath-taking any time of day.
🚶4. Horseshoe Bay to Balding Bay. The track climbs through a steep gully of closed forest to a ridge with open eucalypt woodland.
🚶5. Arcadia Lookout - You are rewarded with breath taking aerial views of Alma Bay and Geoffrey Bay. The best bang for your buck for effort vs reward.
🔍 Pro Tip: There’s no need to rush—Magnetic Island has plenty of parking available across the island, so you can take your time and tackle different hikes at your own pace.

Opening hours of the car park is 6:00am – 7:00pm .
The cost is $8 per 24 hours or part thereof.
