Leven River Cruises had a fantastic time taking part in Tourism Tasmania's promotion, "Inspiring Tasmanians to make the most of our longer days," which focuses on the themes of 'eat,' 'drink,' 'stay,' 'play,' and exploring our beautiful state during the spring and summer months. This evening, we enjoyed a feature with Peter Murphy on the 7 Weather News.

💕💐💐We had pair of sea eagles putting on a sound display over above us with fish jumping and many birds up stream with lovely reflections to see. Hot tea and coffee with a variety of foods to choose from. A great way to say thank you to mums for their Mother’s Day 💕on board 💐💐

Eagle flys down in front of Jus'Leven @levenrivercruises

We came across the sea eagle perched on a riverbank tree near Sim Plot in Ulverstone. Then off the branch, it flew right down in front of the boat, keen to catch a fish, but unfortunately for the eagle it missed its catch, but put on a good display for us!

"Today's morning cruise was truly remarkable, filled with reflections, sightings of eagles and various bird species, schools of fish swimming gracefully, and even a wallaby hopping along the river bank. The juvenile white-bellied sea eagle gracefully flew alongside us, showcasing its impressive flying and landing skills. On our return the adult eagles joined in too. It was a wonderful experience for all of us, immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature and learning about the rich history of the area. 😄👩🏻‍✈️"
