What a week!

I've just spent a week working out at the Kinrara Expeditions Wetlands Retreat; we're working hard to get the facilities up and running for the upcoming season.

In between the manual labour I couldn't help myself but to do something I am incredibly passionate about, Birdwatching (or Twitching, if you wanna say it like a Twitcher). I managed to count 72 species in just 5 working days!

A mixture of wetlands birds and savannah birds too, that is a very exciting success rate for a Bird-nerd like me.

We've just come back from a week of hard work setting up the glamping campsite and facilities at our Kinrara Expeditions Wetlands Retreat, ready for our first full trip for the season, starting in just a few days.

Anywhere else in the world this sunset would be once in a lifetime view, but we were amazed to be treated to sights like this almost every evening as a reward for our hard work during the days.

Sunsets over the wetlands are stunning, with swans silhoutted against the brilliant colours of the sky.
