This time last year we travelled to Mongolia for a world of intrigue and a whole lot of fun at the 10,000 camel festival in a chilly minus 32c in the Gobi We have now been invited by governor Enkhbat of the Umnugobi province and deputy governor Zanabazar to the festival and camel conference. that is being held there on the 1st to 3rd February. It will be a great pleasure to attend, as we can exchange ideas and together we can achieve things we never thought possible. I would also like to thank Naranzaya for all his kind help as we have travelled the country and for his belief in what lies ahead. Then how can I forget Sagua a true friend and colleague in what we are all doing in Mongolia.

Hello everyone in the Australian camel racing world.
I just wanted to bring everyone up to date with the Saudi Arabian Internataional Camel racing Federation ICRF.
I have just returned from the 4th Gathering of the ICRF that was held in Greece at Olympia, the birthplace of the ancient Olympics.
It was a very formal and symbolic affair with quite a few high-level members from the IOC attending.
The main things to come out of the gathering was that Australia is now a formal member and no longer an Observer nation.
The other was a name change of the organisation to World Camelid Sports.
Australia has also been asked to run an event called "World Series Camel Racing"
We have yet to be told just what's required but I am there to make sure Australia does not get left behind and miss out on this development on the world stage.
Its been a slow progression over the last 4 years but things seem to be moving along now and Camel racing will be Saudis display sport at the Olympics when in the future they make a bid for them.
I will keep everyone informed as this all progresses but train hard and be ready for a possible unusual development in the Australian Camel racing world
