Timber Cabin on 75 acres near Fraser Island at River Heads, Hervey Bay
Mango Lodge took 12 months to construct, it is a solid timber slab cabin with unique Australian hand crafted furnishings. Disability access & open-air deep claw foot bath overlooking 100 year old Mango Tree are just a few of the many features. Kangaroos frequent the property and can be seen from the cabin on the front lawn. The cabin is fully self contained with a fully equipped kitchen and a 150 year old restored wood stove. Nestled beside a 40 acre nature reserve with over 4kms of walking trails where you can go exploring or bird watching with over 40 species identified so far. Attention to detail has been of paramount importance with 2 king sized fully adjustable beds which can be configured to suit complete with Tempur mattresses. The cabin is air conditioned and has 2 flat screen TV’s and a genuine genoa lounge to relax in. So sit back and escape from the hustle and bustle, relax & unwind taking in the magnificent sunsets. You may even spot Peter Rabbit who also lives in the garden.
