After 12 days of touring and exploring Siem Reap, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh we took a few days R and R on the island of Phu Quoc staying at the Intercontinental Phu Quoc ~ very chilled and still a developing destination. You can see lots of projects underway and lots empty still after the impact of COVID, however it is becoming more popular.
We didn’t venture to far but did have one day on a private tour. We were taken to a couple of islands for some snorkelling then on to Hon Thom island and Sunworlds Aquatopia water park. Needless to say all ages had a blast!
The trip back was by the worlds longest 2 wire cable car measuring 7.9km flying us high above the ocean 🌊

Back to Ho Chi Minh for a night then start our trek home 🏠

Hi Chi Minh ~ what an amazingly buzzing city!!
We spent a couple of nights at La Siesta Premium hotel in district 1.
A well located boutique hotel with a small roof top bar and pool, perfect spot to base yourself to explore thai vibrant city.
We visited the Cu Chi Tunnels by speedboat with our awesome (and hilarious) guide Chi, also known as Banana 😂 🚤 and took in a back of motorbike food tour (this was an
absolute highlight and a must when visiting HCM) a guide for each of us who gave us so much information as we zipped around the districts, the food was amazing! 🏍️
We also visited the War remnants museum which was confronting but gave us more insight to the atrocities of the Vietnam War 😢

Our next stop after Cambodia was the ancient town of Hoi An in central Vietnam 🇻🇳
A beautiful colourful lantern filled location with the most amazing food! We took a day tour out to the countryside in WW2 jeeps & did a walking food tour of Hoi A city sampling the local food.

Todays adventures were Quad biking through the Siem Reap countryside thanks to the wonderful team at Cambodia Quad Bike, followed by a fantastic show at the Phare Circus ~ both I can highly recommend when visiting Siem Reap 🇰🇭
