Fried catfish tacos and pho last night and had fish at an Italian restaurant the other night. Both delicious. Got to give it to this NYC mob, they know how to cook fish. Looking forward to some lobster in Boston.

What a season it's been. In China it's the year of the dragon, well in Denmark it's been the year of the King George whiting. Back in great numbers and we havn't missed out all summer. 6 weeks of black easterlies made for some hard work .

Thanks to everyone who came along and tried their luck. It's been fun.

Seeya again in November.

Stay tuned for some southern USA catfish action or maybe a salmon from a mountain stream.

Ross the Flattie whisperer is back. Been a strange couple of day's. Been looking everywhere for the KG'S to little avail. Lucky this bloke knows how to sniff out a decent lizard. Been a pleasure to share the last few days with him. Hope you catch that giant KG off the Busso jetty mate.

Been a bit slack with the social media lately mainly because I have been flat out cleaning fish after charters. Another great day on the lake today. After catching a feed of King George it was on to the flathead. Took a bit to find them but when we did it was on, including a triple hookup at one point. Chuck in a few big boy crabs and job done.
Dinner's looking very yummy.

I'm not a superstitious person but when the banana's come out of the bag and 10 mins later it's howling and raining ,you gotta wonder. 😄

Despite the drizzle and a pretty stiff breeze the boys persisted to take home a great feed of KGW,Gardies with a black bream and a skippy thrown in for good luck. Thanks for the help on the filleting table.

The KGs were a bit hard to find this morning but we found a few in the end.

Despite the wind the fish just keep coming. After enough KGs for a few good feeds and 6 of our favourite's it was off to chase Flatties. They were on the chew and afew went in the esky and more released to fight another day. Well fished fellas. I'm going to be a gun filleter by the end of this season.

Awesome day on the lake yesterday. So good to see all of these hard working lads enjoying a day on the water and a few beers and a BBQ after.

We spent 2 hrs chucking soft plastics at all my best spots today for one small flathead, then as we were coming in my 2 boys were heading out and an hour later they have these . 🤨 We did have a feed of King George on-board though.

Another successful morning on Wilson Inlet. First stop a feed of King George whiting with a few gardies thrown in for good luck. More than enough for a few yummy meals then it was off to chase some flathead on soft plastics . 4 kept for eating and released the rest, including a big one that was lost right at the boat. That's fishing 🙂

Day 2 with Ross. Having achieved what he wanted on day one we again started on some kg's and a few of our favourite's , the humble garfish. Throw in a very nice black bream at 430 and we are on a roll. Ross said he would like to have a go at soft plastic fishing as he had never caught anything on them before. A couple of casts in he caught the best Flattie i have seen this season. Ripper fish.
Couple more in the bag and we were done. Awesome to have you onboard Ross.
