Finding the right spot where a boar has bedded down can be very challenging for bowhunting. - Look for signs: Keep an eye out for tracks, droppings, cracked-rubbed sticks. Boars tend to leave noticeable traces. - Scout during the day: Observe the area where you plan to hunt during daylight hours. Look for areas with disturbed ground or flattened vegetation, which may indicate a bedding spot. - Focus on cover: Boars prefer areas with good cover, such as thick brush, tall grass, or under tree roots. Look for spots that provide shelter and security for the boar. - Avoid direct approach be patient and still: When you've located a potential bedding area, try to stay downwind to minimize the chance of the boar detecting your scent. - Bowhunting requires patience and stealth. The first part of this video shows poor, unstable flight at the start of the tuning process, and the vast improvement in arrow flight as we got close to the end point of a well tuned bow shooting fixed two blade broadheads and field points into the same point of impact.
