We have been saying it for years. Seems the world has caught up finally, 😁
Cottage is a great base to visit all the coastal beaches and towns without being caught up in the crowds.

Scarborough is a beautiful seaside town in North Yorkshire, England which has become famous for its coastline and incredible views of the North Sea, as well as museums and cafes

Everyone loves the Yorkshire Wolds walks. It really is beautiful. Fordon is such a sweet starting place in the next village to the cottage.

Walk from Fordon, near Hunmanby, exploring typical Yorkshire Wolds landscape. Route includes the medieval church of St James. With maps and GPS file.

Great news - a new bus service for the Yorkshire Wolds has been launched. Starting on Saturday 30 March and running on weekends and bank holiday Mondays through the Summer, this great service will allow you to walk lovely linear sections of the Yorkshire Wolds Way between Millington and Huggate and between Huggate and Thixendale.

We love Scarborough. It’s a great visit from the cottage 8 miles away. You missed out for Easter. Cottage is booked as a base for two friends first The Punk Festival.
Some availability in May between the Bank Holidays.
