This is the Official Site for tourism and more in the Warburton Valley. We are a not-for-profit, membership-based organisation that receives no government funding and relies on our local businesses and volunteers to bring you accurate, timely and friendly information to make your stay amazing.
The Waterwheel in the township of Warburton provides tourist information, an Artists Gallery, an Indoor Forest/Environment Centre and showcases locally handmade goods.
Just one hour from Melbourne, the Warburton Valley is life at nature’s pace.
Always green, Warburton is where the Yarra River runs clear.
Relax by the river in summer, celebrate the beauty and abundance of harvest in autumn, enjoy an easy day of snow play on Mt Donna Buang in winter and reconnect with nature on one of our many forest walks in spring.
Start your visit with a delicious meal prepared with farm fresh produce, and meet the local wildlife while you enjoy the great outdoor activities the beautiful valley offers. And whether you are exploring by bike, foot or car, there’s always a fine wine or a great coffee to be found.
To catch up in the Warburton Valley is to slow down.
This FACEBOOK page is just one of the many ways Warburton Valley Community Economic Development Association (CEDA) supports businesses, traders and community members in the region.
CEDA also supports the official tourism website www.visitwarburton.com.au and is responsible for the success of the Waterwheel Visitor Information Centre, a multi- pronged enterprise that supports local artists, makers and businesses and welcomes more than 40,000 tourists every year!
The page and website are curated by local people with a wealth of experience living and working in the Warburton Valley. These content curators pride themselves on being ‘in the community’ and able to bring you up-to-the minute information and a truly ‘insiders’ view of all the wonderful things the Warburton region has to offer.
