Martyrs Bus Service has a "Full Time" Route Service Driver Position.

Urgent Information.
Tonight we have found out that the Warburton Hwy is closed between Woori Yallock and Seville.
We have not been advised of the closure and have had no time to plan any other alternative.
The 21:40 which is approx 20 minutes late from Chirnside Park will divert at Seville to Yellingbo to get to Woori Yallock.
Once the bus goes through Seville, the next stop will be Middleton Drive.
We will attempt to have an explanation and further information tomorrow

Good afternoon.
Due to a car incident on the Warby Hwy in Warburton, the Warby Hwy is closed until further notice.
Eastbound - we are bypassing the Main street by using Mayers Bridge & Dammans Road bypassing the Mayers Bridge, Alpine Hotel and Warby Main St bus stops.
Westbound - we are bypassing the Main street by using Brisbane Bridge and Dammans Road bypassing the Info Centre, Alpine Blvd and Mayers Bridge stops until further notice.
We hope that in the next 20 - 30 minutes buses will be given right to travel through.

Due to a serious accident at Seville East, all traffic has been impacted.
Currently we have no idea if we will still be able to get through.
Updates will come as we hear more.
Information is coming via social media or our drivers on the spot, not emergency services.

Updates
1. We are being diverted so all services will follow different paths.
2. We have 2 buses travelling via Yellingbo in both directions. Please speak with the drivers for stops in Woori Yallock.
3. Buses will be using Seville Monbulk roads until further notice.
4. Due to the extreme delays, we were unable to run the 18:27 from Warburton, instead it will catch up from Yarra Junction at approx 18:45 to 18:50.
5. The 18:27 from Chirnside will catch up from Wandin north at approx 18:47 to 18:50.

Good morning and apologies.
The first service which is the 05:37 from warburton has been terminated at Launching Place.
The 05:50 from Warburton is the next service.
This has also stopped the 06:37 From Chirnside to Launching Place service.
This inconvenience is out of our control and all passengers are being transferred to another bus.
This is a minor mechanical issue causing a large problem.
Again our apologies for the inconvenience.

In following up on the incident unfolding at Chirnside Park, the next 683 service from Chirnside Park will be the 19:32.
We apologise for the failed service but even Victoria Police have not been able to make this situation end quickly.

Good evening.
The 18:27 Ex Chirnside Park is still at Chirnside Park waiting for Victoria Police to help with a distressed passenger in the wrong area.
As soon as they possibly can, Victoria Police will get the bus on its way.

To our travelling Public.
Due to the severe rain and water on road conditions today, we have spent the best part of the day running between 30 to 40 minutes late from Chirnside Park.
This evening the 16:50 service from Warburton was forced out of service in Launching Place and because of this, the 18:05 from Chirnside Park did not run.
We apologise for all inconveniences, but all of today’s situations were totally out of our control.

Diesel Mechanic is next on our list.
Are you, or do you know someone that is an experienced Diesel Mechanic looking for a change in pace, vehicles, and lifestyle.

We are still looking for a Full Time Qualified Diesel mechanic to join us.
You will be involved in the servicing and maintenance of a fleet of approx 45 vehicles.
The work includes routine maintenance, diagnostic, and some component rebuilding.
We are a close-knit workshop working closely with the operations team.
We laugh and cry depending on the issue, but we work together.

So, the post worked, we have had some interest, some phone calls, and interviews to find a route service driver to keep the 683 going.
Thank you and just remember we are always looking for Casual On Call School bus Drivers.
If you have the necessary licences and can work a three hour shift in either morning or the afternoon, then get in touch.
You do not need to work every day, maybe one or two afternoons a week (when we have work for you).
If we can pick up a few On Call Casual Drivers, this will keep our school buses going.
