Diesel Mechanic is next on our list.
Are you, or do you know someone that is an experienced Diesel Mechanic looking for a change in pace, vehicles, and lifestyle.

We are still looking for a Full Time Qualified Diesel mechanic to join us.
You will be involved in the servicing and maintenance of a fleet of approx 45 vehicles.
The work includes routine maintenance, diagnostic, and some component rebuilding.
We are a close-knit workshop working closely with the operations team.
We laugh and cry depending on the issue, but we work together.

So, the post worked, we have had some interest, some phone calls, and interviews to find a route service driver to keep the 683 going.
Thank you and just remember we are always looking for Casual On Call School bus Drivers.
If you have the necessary licences and can work a three hour shift in either morning or the afternoon, then get in touch.
You do not need to work every day, maybe one or two afternoons a week (when we have work for you).
If we can pick up a few On Call Casual Drivers, this will keep our school buses going.

The 16:25 Ex Warburton is currently delayed in Yarra junction due to a passenger with a medical issue.
The ambulance has been called and the service will continue when the passenger has been seen to.

The 07:39 Service Ex Chirnside will not run from Chirnside this morning due to a problem in the service.
A support bus will start from Wandin North at 07:59.

We managed to get out of the Yarra Valley and we are not lost.
Bus 19 and Allen have travelled to Western Vic for a Halls Gap and Coast Camp with Mount Evelyn Christian School.

The attached pictures of are what was done to one of our buses on Saturday afternoon.
We have secured CCTV footage to hand to Victoria Police.
You are a regular traveller that doesn't pay, and we have very good video of you committing the offence.

Good Morning 683 travelers.
With the traffic light system now in place as of this morning, the 683 will be through Millgrove and on to warburton, and East Warburton.

We are unable to change the school bus runs that are starting from Millgrove tomorrow, the 2nd of November, but we will run the full length through to warburton, for the afternoon school bus runs.

Just making sure that all attached to this post are aware that the 683 is running normal as you f this morning.
Services will be normal from tomorrow, the 2nd October with the 5:37 from Yarraview Retirement Village.

The 683 will continue to originate and terminate at Millgrove CFA.
We are unable to run buses over the Old Warburton Road and we are not able to service East Warburton.
Again, we apologise for the interruption to the 683 but it is completely out of our hands.

Good afternoon.
Due to the closure of the Warburton Hwy prior to Mayers Bridge, Warburton, the 683 will be origination and terminating in the car park at the Millgrove CFA until further notice.

Tuesday the 25th of October 17:40.
Due to road closures in Lilydale, we are unsure if the 683 service will be able to go through to Lilydale Station.
Any passengers using the service in Lilydale, please be advised we may have to bypass Lilydale altogether and use the following.
Cave Hill Road, Beresford Road, Gardiner Street, Anderson Street and Nelson Road to get back to Maroondah Hwy as a route.

Last information received reports Lilydale Station is flooded, as well as Maroondah Hwy, Lilydale.
Please consider alternative locations and transport out of the area if possible.

Good morning 683 travellers.
This message is to advise all passengers of the 683, that the Lilydale Station, Eastbound stop (on Maroondah Hwy), is closed next week, Monday 16th of May to Thursday 19th of May.
During this week, we have been assigned the “Rail Replacement” bus stop on, Williams Street East, at the Lilydale Station.

We still have a couple more to do but the majority of our services have bike racks now.

Work during the week and weekends to help you organise doctors, dentists, take the kids to school or even pick them up on occasion as well.

The rostered weekdays and weekends will help you do the things that you normally have to take time off work for.
It’s not “all” perfect but we do have dedicated and long term drivers on board so it can’t be that bad.

Also, have you thought of becoming an On Call Casual school bus driver to get a little extra work on occasion to help the family.
