After the first week of Croatia travel and our Topdeck tour came to an end in Split, I joined Intrepids Croatia and Slovenia tour 🇭🇷🇸🇮

Exploring places such as Zadar, Plitvice Lakes, Zagreb, Ljubljana and Lake Bled - it was a great way to see other parts of Croatia inland as well as revisit the stunning country of Slovenia for the 2nd time!

Our small group of 6 made the tour feel more private and special. I had more one on one time with the guides which is a great way to learn about the place in the world you are visiting. It also made transport super easy and places to navigate!

I highly recommend checking out Intrepids Tours for small group touring, especially if you want an authentic travel experience where you get to learn about the local lifestyle, as well as participate in some local ways of life yourself! 🍷🚶‍♀️🌅🌆

I don’t know how to describe the last 2 and a half weeks apart from it being magical and such an adventure! 🇭🇷🇸🇮

I began the first week with Topdeck, sailing around the Croatian coastline with other agents from around Aus and NZ. Getting to experience what it’s like to do a sail & swim trip was an amazing experience - So many activities were out of my comfort zone and i had a blast 💥

Visiting places such as Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar, Markarska, Korcula and Mljet national park - this is a highly recommended trip to add to your bucket list. There will be more detailed posts on the way for recommended activities and places to visit ✈️

📍 MARINA BAY SANDS 🇸🇬

An absolute dream to stay at this hotel! It full well exceeded my expectations. Here’s a little recap:

Staff: Absolutely incredible! From the moment you checked in the staff made you feel so welcome and like that would do anything for you. Our check in agent explained the whole hotel to us, as well as when special events such as the light show was on. Upon our bags arriving to our room and the extra bed being brought it, the staff member also explained certain parts of the room to us, as well and when to look out on our balcony for the Gardens by the Bay light shows at 7.45 and 8.45pm.

Room: The perfect size after spending the 3 prior nights in a smaller loft style hotel. Plenty of space for both double beds and the king single extra bed in our room. I loved the space of the bathroom and shower - as well as all the storage available. The free mini bar which was refilled each day with soft drink, snacks and water was a great bonus!

Pool: Seriously the best thing in the world. Available to guests only, the pool never felt too crowded and we were always able to get poolside beds. The views were insane - would highly recommend going at night more so than day! For the pool, each guest must bring a keycard each with you to enter.

Other: It was so easy to get through to the Gardens by the Bay from the hotel. You can also go through to the shopping centre without even stepping outside (which was ideal as it was quite hot), which also connects to an MRT station.

Super grateful to attend training at the Helloworld head office in Melbourne for the past 2 days, including a great day today learning all about the different cruise lines and what makes them stand out from eachother, plus the best way to match a client to the best potential cruise line!

Myself and Sharon stayed at the Novotel Southwharf Melbourne, which was amazing! I couldn’t fault anything. Plus, it’s always a bonus when the view from your room was as great as it was. This is the perfect hotel if wishing to shop, with DFO quite literally right outside the hotel door. Restaurants and cafes (Crown and South Wharf) are only a short walk away too.
