‘RadioActive’...entertaining SW Victoria...and the world...
‘RadioActive’ is a radio program broadcast every Friday from 1pm to 4pm (AEST) on 3WAY-FM (103.7) in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia. Hosted by Vic Campbell, the show began in February 2016 and is a mix of music (pop, rock, country, Americana), local weather, a Fake and Funny News Bulletin, movie and tv reviews plus a local gig guide. In 2017, ‘RadioActive’ won the MONA AWARD for ‘Most Popular Program (Friday)’ and Vic was awarded the Bronze MONA. Occasionally, in-studio or phone interviews are included with guest artists. A chat in January 2018 with Andrew Tanner, frontman of Melbourne band The Woodland Hunters, was well-received by listeners as was a February interview with Gold Coast country rocker Casey Barnes. In-studio conversations with Adelaide’s GERMEIN and Warrnambool local Fiona Kershaw also went well. Cooper Lower and Ray Anderson have also been interviewed by Vic in Studio One. Before the band’s first visit to Victoria in March 2018, Vic spoke by phone to Plan B’s Sneaky Pete and aired several of the Adelaide group’s songs. Keep up-to-date with program playlists on the dedicated ‘RadioActive’ page. Listen to the ‘live’ stream via www.3wayfm.org.au or use the TuneIn Radio app.
