It's official! The T.J. Byrnes Monument in Warwick is once again wrapped in its annual custom-made scarf and beanie, signaling the start of the Jumpers & Jazz in July Festival! For over 18 years, Dawn Booth from the Warwick Spinners & Weavers has crafted these bespoke sets. LIGHT UP QUEENSLANDER! // Queensland celebrates its 165th birthday this Queensland Day, 6 June. To celebrate our great state the Southern Downs will light up MAROON the Warwick Town Hall, SDRC Stanthorpe Administration Building and Weeroona Park.
Wallangarra is home to our QUEENSLANDER sign, inspired by local hero Billy Moore. It’s a great day to remember that that call to action was about helping your mate, finding a solution and no excuses.
