The guest house accommodates two to six guests with queen beds in both rooms and a sofa bed in living room. Main bedroom has great views of the river and access to the alfresco deck via a glass sliding door.

The guest house is open plan living and dining, large private alfresco deck with outdoor settings and a barbecue to help you enjoy the peaceful setting and abundance of bird life. You will find modern cooking facilities, dishwasher, microwave, televisions in all rooms and bathroom/ washing machine. Own private driveway, lawn to the water's edge with shady trees to sit under and a jetty to relax, fish and take in the serenity. Washpool also offers a Private Guest apartment. The apartment has two queen bedrooms, large bathroom, a large living room with kitchenette and a balcony with views of the Murray River. Washpool Retreat is an hours drive from Adelaide.

Rivertime: Due to a cancellation for the Spring Nationals 2024, 18th - 20th October we now have this fantastic house available that will sleep 10 to 12 people. Only 10 minutes from The Bend track. A relaxing place to come home to after a big day out. Message me if you are interested.

Our Story

Washpool Retreat guest house offers accommodation only metres from the waters edge of the Murray River. The guest house accommodates two to four guests with queen beds in both rooms. Front facade of house has three large glass sliding doors giving you a great views including from the main bedroom and access from the living areas to the outside. The guest house is open plan living and dining with a large private alfresco deck area and an outdoor setting and a barbecue to help you enjoy the peaceful setting overlooking the river and abundance of bird life. You will find modern cooking facilities, dishwasher, microwave, televisions in all rooms and a newly renovated bathroom including a washing machine. Own private driveway, lawn to the water's edge with shady trees to sit under and a jetty to relax, fish and take in the serenity. Washpool Retreat also offers a Private Guest apartment (Apartment on Washpool). The apartment has two bedrooms, 0ne queen bedroom and the other bedroom has two long singles or can be made into a king bed. It also offers a large living room with kitchenette, bathroom and a balcony with views of the Murray River.

Matt’s River Rest: Washpool Retreat also manages a three bedroom holiday rental. A great place to bring your family and friends and enjoy quality time together. It accommodates up to 8 people with three queen bedrooms, one bedroom including a bunk bed. A large open plan living area overlooking the Murray River with a large alfresco deck including an outdoor setting and barbecue for you to enjoy. Bring your own boat and moor it at your own private beach and sit under the trees on lush lawn and enjoy the river activities. Washpool Retreat and Matt’s River Rest is an hours drive from Adelaide and a 10 minute drive from The Bend Motorsport Park.
