Hot tip Tuesday
Todays tip is really in the hopes of sharing your hot tips about this. Sleeping on a plane. Is there anything harder??!! Unless you fly business that is 💰 but seriously what works for me is a travel pillow, scarf so my neck is warm and listening to music softly using noise cancelling ear buds. What a process 😆 It’s the only way I might get an hour or two of sleep sitting upright 💺 what do you do??

Monday memories
The gorgeous little town of Schiltach in the eastern side of the Black Forest in Germany. It’s just another beautiful, fairytale-esque little place that you could imagine sitting outside in the sunshine reading a book while enjoying a German 🍺 or is that just me 🙈 😂 As it turns out I did do just that while I was here and that was with babies in tow! Anything is possible 😆

Hot tip Tuesday
With travel returning with a bang there are sooooo many rule changes. Every country has a different set of rules and just when you think you have that sorted, an airline or cruise company might have different rules!! You never know who needs you to do a PCR test, how many hours before the flight you need it, if you need to do one on arrival, etc!! Plus they are constantly changing so please, please book with a travel professional!!! I’ve got your back!

Monday memories
This photo is an epic reminder that you can travel with kids, you really can. We did this trip not for their sake but for ours. This is my youngest who was one at the time in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris! Most of our photos from this trip have me either pushing a stroller and carrying a baby on my front but we saw and did so much!! It was an amazing trip! I will say they were awesome angels 70% of the time and 30% crazy monsters 😂 it’s not all rainbows and butterflies and sure, you have to adjust but it is still one of the best trips I ever did! Hit me up for some tips if you want to travel with babies and small kids!

Ok so the word of the day is patience! Thank you for your patience and also give me strength to work on my patience 😂 Travel enquiry is absolutely off the charts at the moment and the flow on effects mean hold times are longer, turn around is longer and because of all the complicated rules with travel overseas, this impacts time as well! So please be patient and know that I’m doing everything to help things go as smoothly as possible for your trip!! And I’ll try to remember when I’m sitting on hold to certain airlines for hours on end 🙄 Safe travels! ❤️

Ok so while this pic is hilarious and sad at the same time because for two years it was our reality, my hot tip is get in early to renew or apply for a passport! The passport office is seriously backed up and they are taking a lot longer to issue passports. As in months!!! So get going!! The earlier the better 😂

Monday memories
This cute little town is called Miltenberg in the Bavarian region of Germany. I was lucky enough to do a river cruise in 2019 before the world went crazy and as we cruised down the River Mein we got to stop off, explore a little and then we were treated to an afternoon tea with a local German family. I never thought I’d be into a river cruise but I absolutely would recommend it any day of the week! A unique way to travel around and everything taken care of so you can sit back and soak it all up. And the tour guides are exceptional at what they do! This cruise was with the wonderful Travelmarvel and they have river cruises all over Europe. Get in touch for the latest specials!

In light of travel officially coming back with a loud bang I thought I’d refresh everyone’s memories with hot tips for travel. The very first one being to BOOK WITH AN AGENT! So much has changed in the last two years and the rules change constantly, I’m talking from one hour to the next! The last thing you want to do on holidays is sit on hold for hours changing something that an agent can do for you! The internet is great for research and ideas but try calling the internet for help when you run into trouble!!! Yikes 😬 Plus you can’t beat relatable stories of places we’ve been and experiences we’ve had to help guide you. So when you’re thinking of taking the plunge and going on that next adventure, think of me!!! Here is a completely relatable pic of my family and I eating a lavender ice cream in Tassie 😂 😂

So, travel is back! And while it’s great to check things out yourself online, once you realise you have to sit on hold for hours to fix the simplest of things you may go mad. That is what an agent is for. Imagine being on holidays and testing positive to COVID or having a blast that you want to stay or having a government change restrictions on you or an airline changing flight times. Unless you’ve booked with an agent that hold time could be up to five hours!! Online is for looking and agents are for booking!!!! But also how funny is this video by Alex Wong. Literally my life 😂 😂

Hi everyone! Long time no travel 😞
So, it’s been a while between take offs! There is certainly hope in the air with travel slowly, slowly returning. While I’m excited, I’m also wary. After the stress of the last 18 months in my industry, things have changed dramatically. The hoops and jumps you have to get through to leave this country (or even just your state 🤦🏽‍♀️) transit in another and then enter another are crazy and change on the daily!! The simplest booking has now turned into double, sometimes triple the work as I make sure my clients are protected and looked after in their adventures. It’s not as easy as searching for a flight or hotel on-line by yourself anymore. So while it is an exciting time, please, please book with an agent!!

Omg I actually got on a plane this weekend!!!!! Girls weekend in Sydney with my besties was exactly what the doctor ordered! Thankfully the weather was beautiful and I got to check out Bondi for the first time ever! Not sure about international travel but gosh it was great to get on a plane and go somewhere!! I ❤️ TRAVEL!!!!!
