Fair to say it was a fairly busy day yesterday, and considering the Apple Watch counts the start of the day at midnight when in actual fact for us it started at 10:30pm Sunday night. And for the record, no actual workout was logged either.

Cauliflower x Andy Warhol 🌈

A grey-old day out there, but plenty of colour on our shelves. Multi-coloured cauliflowers available. Regular, Romanesco (green), Cape Broccoli (Purple), Cheddar Cauliflower (yellow).

While they do have similar flavour, a mix of colours can really brighten up your cooking. Give them a go

Always great to see our friend Paul Patsuris in the store. The grower of the some of the best cauliflower in town, at his farm in Werribee South. The length of time we’ve been dealing with the Patsuris family is counted in generations rather than years…

Cauliflower…. is there anything it can’t do?!

You could whole-roast a cauliflower. You could bake it into a cauliflower cheese. Or you could tick both boxes with Nicholas Hill] cauliflower cheese tart, which features the whole brassica as its heart and burnished top. The cheddar custard on the side is a bonus. See link in bio for the recipe.⁠

Melbourne Markets ‘Children in the Market’ program is back after a hiatus due to Covid, I don’t know who the ‘children’ are here though??! Great to have the kids visit and see what we do, they did so great considering they were woken at 11pm! ❤️❤️
