Pedal Prix WA 🏁 is on this Sunday 21 August, at the Busselton Forshore (West of The Equinox).
This competition will see teams race Human Powered Vehicles (HPV) on a closed controlled circuit, over a 6 hour period from 10am - 4pm. The race is part of the UniSA HPV’s Super Series, staged by Australian International Pedal Prix.
Come down to witness this exciting event and join the City in supporting HPV racing in WA.

Beautiful Busselton turning it on this morning 🌤
157 years ago the first footsteps made their journey all the way to the end of the Busselton Jetty, however things were a little different around these parts back then both on the timber and along the shore!
These days the waterfront precinct that greets visitors to the longest timber piled jetty in the southern hemisphere provides everything holidays makers could want to entertain themselves with from gourmet restaurants to a playground that has to be seen to be believed, skate and other sport facilities and one of The Margaret River Regions newest breweries Shelter Brewing Co 🍻
Of course this all before you even set foot on the board walk and make the 1.8 kilometre hike out to sea where you get to choose which adventurous activity you'll fill the rest of the day in with - catching the fish of the day, spotting sea life at the underwater observatory, taking a SeaTREK undersea helmet walk or perhaps simply riding the red train all the way to the very end as you give a smug grin to the pedestrians at the half way mark 😏
Since 1865 this iconic landmark has sure seen her share adversity however she still stands strong today thanks to the passionate Busselton community who rallied together forming the Busselton Jetty Environment and Conservation Association, bringing her up to the condition you see her in currently and captured here by 📷 Osprey Creative.
