Sometimes just the small things can make the world of difference.

What are some of the best travel experiences you’ve had with your Assistance Dog? What made them so memorable?

I’ve been thinking about the things that make a holiday truly relaxing and enjoyable for me—those moments where my needs were met seamlessly and thoughtfully. One standout experience for me was a catamaran day cruise of the Great Barrier Reef in the Whitsundays with Sealink in 2022.

It was a magical day, filled with stunning scenery and a sense of ease, thanks to the exceptional customer service and welcoming attitude of the crew. Heather, in particular, left a lasting impression. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt supported, without ever being overbearing. Her proactive approach to assistance, offering help whenever she sensed I might need it—such as helping me disembark the boat or navigate through shallow water—truly made all the difference.

It’s unfortunately rare to come across such an accessible attitude, and I’ll forever remember her kindness and care. Experiences like this highlight how impactful genuine support can be—it can transform a moment into a cherished memory rather than a challenging one.

Nothing beats the excitement of our guests seeing Hill Inlet for the first time. The walk up is peaceful, beautiful, and well worth it when you’re greeted with those world-famous swirling sands. A memory they’ll never forget!

🎄✨ FESTIVE IN THE HEART OF AIRLIE BEACH! ✨🎄

Last night, the teams from SeaLink Whitsundays, Red Cat Adventures and Whitsunday Jetski Tours came together to celebrate the holiday season in style at the incredible Whisper Restaurant & Gin Bar🍸🎉

It was a night filled with laughter, delicious food, refreshing gin cocktails, and unforgettable memories as we toasted to a fantastic year of adventures, teamwork, and milestones achieved! 🤩

A huge thanks to all of our guests who have travelled onboard our products while in the Whitsundays and a massive thank you to the amazing crew at Whisper Gin Bar for hosting us and creating such a magical atmosphere!

🚨 RFDS Oceans to Outback Challenge Update! 🚨
