ther's footsteps after leaving school, Brett's first job was working for a locally based bus operator in the Illawarra region and Wollongong working in the Service Bay, servicing the fleet on a daily bases. Later moving onto Driving for Local Coach Companies (Crossways Travel, Wollongong Coaches ) this involved working with Overseas and Local Tourists alike. Traveling all over Australia on Accommodated Tours and Camping Safaris. Later moving to Sydney Based Operators and continued to work with overseas and Local Tourists also traveling throughout Australia. Illawarra Burkes Coaches is a family owned and operated business since 1997, specialising in group holiday travel, school excursions and Corporate Functions throughout Australia.

Christmas in July in the Hunter Valley 2025

Day 1:
Travel through the beautiful countryside on the way to the Hunter Valley, with a lunch stop at the historic Wollombi and embark on a walking tour self guided exploring fine heritage buildings, then on to our accommodation for check in.

Day 2:
Visit to the Hunter Valley Gardens with time to wander the gardens and the shopping village. Afternoon at leisure at the Hotel
This evening Wine and Cheese tasting and a 2 course dinner

Day 3:
Local coach tour of the Kurri Kurri Murals with a local guide then
over to Morpeth for a town tour with a local guide also a lunch stop and some free time to have a wander around.
Back to the accommodation for Christmas in July Dinner

Day 4:
Today we head back home with a morning stop off at the Smelly Cheese Shop & Chocolate Shop and a lunch stop along the way home.
