Terms and Conditions
To ensure that every participant receives the maximum benefit from our program and services at our center please take the time to read through the following ‘Learn to Swim’ terms and

conditions relevant to Nippers 2 Flippers “Safe Start Swim School”. General Conditions

All participants must abide by the general terms and conditions of the Swim School Program. Management reserves the right to refuse entry, suspend or cancel a membership without refund. Every effort will be made to adhere to the timetable, however, Nippers 2 Flippers reserves the right to change and alter classes as necessary. Payment of Fees

Payment of swim school lessons is for the full term unless other arrangements have been authorized by Swim School Management. All fees must be paid within 14 day of invoice date, and failure to do so will result in your position being given to another member. Please note, we no longer offer Bank Transfer. Missed Lessons

To minimize disruption, we offer two make-up lessons per term. This is unable to be rolled over to the following term.If a make-up lesson is missed you are not permitted to re book another make-up. The center must be notified at least 24 hours prior to lesson if your child will not be attending their lesson. Assessments

Assessments are ongoing as children develop at their own pace. However, we endeavor to generally conduct assessments during week 3 and week 8. Supervision

Parents are not permitted to leave children unsupervised at any time. Baby Levels

We request that children up to the age of 3 wear both a Swim Nappy and a reusable “Happy Nappy”, which can be purchased from Reception. Privacy

The Center will use your personal information only for the purpose of registering and administering.

To keep our pool in pristine condition, we ask that you ensure your child is wearing an approved Happy Nappy for double layer protection or a Swim Cap with goggles to keep hair clogging our filters. We can provide these to borrow if you have forgotten yours! 🏊

Floating is the is basis of all learn to swim. Once children learn to float they become more relaxed and at home in the water. Back floating is a great safety skill. But it is very common for children to resist back floating particularly during that age group when they are becoming mobile and active. A new year means your child might be starting swim lessons for the first time, or maybe they’ve moved up a level, so they’re swimming in a new level with different teachers. While all of that is very exciting, we also know that it can sometimes come with feelings of nervousness – and that’s totally normal! 🧡
We are here to help swimmers get comfortable and remind them that feeling anxious is okay; it’s not a permanent feeling or sensation. Things like building in a routine around swim lessons can help a child know what to expect, and practicing things like big deep breaths are good for the physical and emotional connections! 😊

Grab the bath toys, bubble bath, and bath books – Let's make bath time fun! Bath time can be such a fun ritual for kiddos and parents, but we also want to take a moment to remind everyone of the importance of bath safety!
Always be engaged and supervise your children in the tub. Make sure the tub is fully drained after use and keep the bathroom door closed.
P.S. Just for fun: In the comments below, let us know what your kiddo’s favourite toy is to currently play with during bath time.

Baby swim lessons are a fantastic way to introduce your little one to the water early on. Not only do these lessons help children become comfortable in the water, but they also teach essential safety skills that can save lives. Additionally, starting swim lessons at a young age can foster a love for swimming that lasts a lifetime. It’s a wonderful bonding experience for parents and their babies, creating joyful memories while teaching important skills. If you're considering enrolling your baby in swim lessons, it’s a great investment in their safety and enjoyment in the water!

We are super excited to announce that we are now opening new Water Play sessions for children aged 4 months - 5 years of age! These sessions will be 30 mins and available twice a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 1130am. $10 per child. These sessions will be unsupervised free play, you get the use of our warm 34 pool and our pool toys. * Please note that a parent is required to be in the water with their child.
