We have a great opportunity for a qualified heavy dieselfitter to join our workshop team at Wondecla. RCG has a diverse fleet of earthmoving plant, trucks and equipment on which you can get your hands dirty.

RCG had a visit from Paddy and Josh from MATES IN CONSTRUCTION last Wednesday 22 February 2023. Paddy and Josh visited our Mareeba project site first thing in the morning, then headed out to our main Wondecla office later to have a chat with staff about su***de prevention and looking after your mates.

WHY MATES EXISTS: THE PROBLEM

* Every year 190 Australians working in the construction industry take their own lives; this means we lose a construction worker every second day to su***de.

* Construction workers are six times more likely to die from su***de than an accident at work. For our young workers, the facts are that they are well over two times more likely to take their own lives than other young Australian men.

RCG held it's third annual Mental Health Golf Day last Friday 24 February 2023.

The RCG mental health golf day aims to not only provide an enjoyable and social day for staff and other key industry partners, but encourage an environment that is open, comfortable and allows for sharing experiences and strategies for managing pressures of today’s work and home environments.

There were many wonderful donations from local businesses which we were able to raffle or auction which greatly contributed to our fundraising efforts. After all funds were tallied we actually raised $4042 which will be donated to support mental health in the local community. It was an amazing day thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended.

CIVIL construction workers alongside key industry partners decided to put down their tools last Friday and pick up a golf club for Robinson Civil’s third annual Mental Health Golf Day.
