Just received a parliamentary citation from Member for Wyong David Harris who has honored Steph and myself and what we have achieved in the Wedding and Entertainment industry. As we prepare to go full time with the business next year, this is a very timely acknowledgement and we thank David very much. The citation reads:
Mr DAVID HARRIS (Wyong—Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Treaty, Minister for Gaming and Racing, Minister for Veterans, Minister for Medical Research, and Minister for the Central Coast)—Congratulations to Vocal Events for being named a finalist in the following three categories Celebrant, Wedding DJ, and MC in the 2024 Australian Bridal Industry Awards. Jamie Cartner began Vocal Events with his wife Stephanie Cartner in 2000 providing service such as Kids Entertainment, Trivia Host, Jammus the Mad Magician, MC/DJ Services and Wedding Celebrant. Mr Cartner has been entertaining and delighting audiences across the Central Coast NSW, Sydney, Newcastle, and Hunter regions for over 20 years. Recently, Vocal Events added a new service Wedding Celebrant which reflected Mr Cartner's skill of being a man of many talents and experiences. His experience in the wedding and event industry has made him to be known for his friendly, energetic, engaging, professional, and respectful approach. Vocal Events ceremonies are created with the clients input making it unique and personalised to reflect individual stories and preferences. I wish Mr and Mrs Cartner all the best in the wedding industry.
