SPOTTED: Giant sea turtle at Bribie Island! 👀🐢

A giant sea turtle made up of 200 members of the Bribie Island community made its way down Woorim Beach into the water, to celebrate the start of sea turtle nesting season and the long journey sea turtles make each year to lay their eggs. 🐢

Local artist Geoff Ginn wrangled the crowd and made sure the vision came to life. 🤩

The event organised by BIEPA - Bribie Island Environmental Protection Association was a huge success, we can’t wait to see our beautiful turtles start their journeys!
