The house is accredited by the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania and has been featured in a variety of international architecture, travel and leisure publications including Conde Naste Traveler, Vogue UK and Habitus. The Winged House is just a 15 minute drive from Burnie Wynyard regional airport where multiple daily services reach Tullamarine, Melbourne for interstate and international connections. Since it started operations in August 2008 the house has attracted visitors from Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Singapore, the U.S., Canada, China, New Zealand and the U.K.
