Meet Julie and Jason (Hosts of Yamba Getaway)

For the past 11 years (since 2010) I have been with Cranes, working as a support worker in disability and aged care. My husband, Jason and I, designed and renovated our home, located in our coastal town of Yamba, Northern NSW to be “Just like home”.
It was really important for us to be able to provide accessible accommodation, with all the home comforts and accessibility required. With my qualified experience, I am happy to provide a service if required to give the carer or family a break. "Just like Home" Yamba is the perfect year-round escape. The newly renovated one-bedroom unit includes a lounge, private bathroom, kitchenette, shared laundry, large back deck and yard. It is wheelchair accessible with ramps, a wheel-in shower, accessible toilet, wide doorways and grab rails.

Julie and Jason invite you to enjoy this accessible self-contained unit adjoining the main residence. The newly renovated one-bedroom unit includes a lounge, private bathroom, kitchenette, shared laundry, large back deck and yard. It is wheelchair accessible with ramps, a wheel-in shower, accessible toilet, wide doorways and grab rails. There is an additional living area and bedroom available for friends, family and carers. This property is pet friendly! There’s a secure, fully fenced backyard for large dogs while small/companion dogs are welcome inside.

Yamba Getaway is just 100 metres from the town’s main shopping centre, Yamba Fair. The flat footpath at the front of the house leads directly to beaches and the town centre (35-minute walk).
