With household budgets under pressure (especially in Victoria), more people are starting to seek out direct booking websites!!

FACT: Commissions to 3rd party platforms (like airbnb, VRBO - homeway (the old stayz) and booking.com ) are between 12 and 16%, and that money does not stay in Australia. In fact, most accommodation providers put these fees on top of booking rack rates, so those sites are dearer.

So BOOK DIRECT, call local tourism Centres, ask around!!

And if you are staying 3 or more nights, ask for a better rate. Just trying to save you some money!! 💵

Get ready for an action-packed weekend at the Powerboat Spectacular & Fair on the Yarrawonga Foreshore! 🚤💨

Friday, April 26:
The gates open at 8:30am, with practice sessions starting at 9am for the Formula GP, Formula 4, and tunnel boat classes making their debut. Qualifying runs kick off at 10:24am across the different boat categories. Don't miss the Matt Hall Red Bull aerial display with a hydroplane and blown alcohol displacement boat at noon! The highlight is the National Drivers Championship qualification hot laps from 1:30-4:20pm, with 16 of the fastest blown alcohol displacement boats racing for pole position.

Saturday, April 27:
A jam-packed day from 9am with heats across classes like Formula J3, hydroplanes, displacement boats, the Oz Lite championship, and more! Catch the Sam Smith Trophy unlimited hydroplane scratch race at 10:48am. Matt Hall returns for a solo aerobatic display (11-11:24am) and formation flying with Emma McDonald (3-3:24pm). The EC Griffith Cup unlimited inboard final is at 3:24pm as well as the Australian Championship final at 3:36

Sunday, April 28:
Starting 9am, it's finals day with the National Drivers Championship C, B & A finals from 10-10:20am. More heats across classes lead up to the Formula GP final (12:36-1pm) and Formula 4 final (1-1:24pm). Don't miss the Les Spears Memorial unlimited displacements final at 1:24pm and the James Sayer ANZAC Day Trophy unlimited open final at 4pm! Matt Hall also performs his aerobatic (11-11:24am) and formation (2-2:24pm) displays.

Gates open at 8:30am all three days. Come witness the power and spectacle of these incredible powerboats & air displays!

Reservations Assistant – Full Time (Yarrawonga)

Have you just finished School or Uni and looking for a job with a difference?

Are you a charismatic and organised person who loves administration, loves talking and loves making people happy?

In conjunction with the Reservations Manager, you will prepare quotes, place reservations and attend to administration tasks relating to a holiday house booking.

You will respond to booking enquiries (email, phone and walk ins), inform customers about local activities, events and things to do.

We are also hoping you love SOCIAL MEDIA and Canva! We would love for you to take great photos, do posts, reels, update our youtube channel and help us with content for social media.

An interest in and experience in tourism, wineries, golf, the Murray River and the Yarrawonga region would be a HUGE advantage.

We would like you to have some sales/customer service experience or even some life experience (ie travelling, busking, youtubing!!)

This role requires a high level of computer literacy, knowledge of social media platforms, exceptional written and verbal communication, confidence and a good sense of humour!

The right candidate must be able to demonstrate that they can prioritise tasks, work autonomously when required, go that extra mile when necessary.

The position is predominately performed within our Yarrawonga office, but there is the option to work from home, especially over the weekends.

It is full-time, Thursday to Monday and times can be negotiated with the right candidate. (Saturdays and Sundays are shorter days and only worked in the busy months)

A 'go-getter' will be rewarded appropriately and will be given the opportunity to grow and develop within the company.

We manage 28 premium holiday rental properties and we make a lot of beds!

We are looking for a Professional BEDMAKER to join our team!

Are you fit and enjoy making beds to a hotel standard? Have you had experience in a housekeeping role?

You must be exceptionally experienced in bed making, have a current drivers license, be physically fit to handle linen (both clean and dirty), move beds, climb stairs, split king beds into singles!

To apply, you will need to demonstrate that you are motivated, reliable and organised.

You must be competent in excel to manage the stock control of linen and property bed inventory.

You must take pride in your work and love perfect presentation.

The bedmaking position is a min 15 hours per week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

There is 2 hours of admin per week (ordering linen, confirming bedding configurations etc) and you will also co-ordinate work with another bedmaker.

Additional tasks (cleaning, gardening, girl Friday jobs) are on offer for Thursdays and Fridays.

Rosters can be within school times, but Mondays are a must!

We pay our Bedmakers $40ph casual, but you are on the books.
