Today we farewelled the most amazing, interesting and hard-working couple, Marie and Antoine - our summer French Back Packers!! 🇫🇷
These guys have been with us for the past three months and boy oh boy, have they seen a plethora of Australian culture in that time (cleaning holiday houses is an eye opener!!)
They never said no to anything we asked of them!
Since starting in November, in our 24 holiday houses, we have hosted 1346 holiday guests.
(that’s not counting all the extra people they sneak in to sleep on the couches)
And because we insist on two pillows per guest, that’s 2692 pillowcases Marie and Antwon have handled for us. 😂😂
That was the fun part… not!!
Marie and Antoin
made beds, cleaned kitchens and bathrooms.
mopped and vacuumed.

They cleaned barbecues and emptied rubbish bins.
They sorted contaminated rubbish bins,
they gardened, cleaned pools, cleaned pool fences,
They moved rocks, moved furniture, cut back trees, put up real estate signs, agreed to be models in a real estate video 🎥
They packed linen, unpacked linen, sorted dirty linen, put up festoon lights, and not to mention the painting!!
These guys painted the Sinatra, then they painted the Sinatra some more. (It looks amazing.)
They also build us an amazing cat cage.
🐈⬛🐈….
They have worked tirelessly with us - often when it was 40°. And they would often finish the day by asking. “Is there anything else you would like us to do?! “
