h, a living room with sofa bed, balcony, spacious patio and easy access to all of Aruba’s beautiful beaches, restaurants and attractions. This Aruba vacation home also features a living room with sofa bed, flat screen TV, vaulted ceilings and a ceiling fan, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, front porch, large back patio with a BBQ grill, outdoor shower, washer/dryer, half bath and a corn hole game, hot water, air-conditioning (in the living room and bedrooms), snorkeling equipment and all of the amenities needed for a carefree and relaxing vacation on the beautiful island of Aruba. The living room, office and both bedrooms are air-conditioned. While the kitchen and dining room are not air-conditioned, two large Dutch doors, ceiling fans and windows keep the space cool.

Meet “Ruban” - we have no idea where he came and when he first arrived he looked rough with almost no feathers but after a few months at the Old Aloe House Aruba and living with the chickens, it looks like he is here to stay!

The Old Aloe House is the perfect house in Aruba! It's within walking distance to Zeerover. You can also take a nice stroll to the pier and sit by the water for a picnic. It's near a new grocery store that has affordable prices than driving to the tourist side of things. The neighborhood is really quiet and quaint. You will rest a lot! The house also comes with a lot of gear - like beach chairs and snorkeling gear so you wont have to rent it. I enjoyed having a private space to retreat to and not be in the hustle and bustle of everything. Also the island is small so it's not hard to move around!

The largest carnival parade is the Grand Parade through Oranjestad, held on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday. This parade is filled with music and luxurious floats and costumes in various designs and decorated with a wide variety of colorful stones and feathers, creating a unique display. Aruba’s main event starts at 12:00 noon in Oranjestad and continues into the evening hours. This is the largest and longest of all the Aruba Carnival parades with the most spectators and participants.
