One of the most amazing structure constructed in Azerbaijan during the Middle Ages is Shirvanshahs' Palace. By the order of King Khalilullah I from the Darbandi dynasty it was constructed on the highest peak of Baku city. A dome completes the inside of the structure. Due to its distinctive architecture, the structure has been attracting travelers for many years.

The winter season in Azerbaijan kicked off with a special event.

In celebration of the commencement of the winter tourist season, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board organized a familiarization trip to the Shahdag Mountain Resort - Şahdağ Turizm Mərkəzi on 14-18 December.

Around 90 representatives from the tourism industry and bloggers from Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Belarus participated in the opening.
