Restaurant Bazeni, often called "Sarajevo Raft", is well known restaurant in the center of Sarajevo. It is located in the most beautiful part of the city, a famous place called Bantbaša, with open terraces placed over the river Miljacka with a beautiful scenic view, surrounded by hills, river and greenery, only 3 minutes walk from the National Library "Vijećnica", and 300 meters from the center of
the Old Town, Baščaršija. Restaurant Bazeni has reputation of the most visited restaurant in whole Bosnia, gladly visited by the well known names from politics, culture, science, sports etc. We have hosted many eminent representatives of diplomacy in Bosnia, organizing events such as Independence Day for USA Embassy and French Embassy, with the presence of over 600 guests. The film scenes from the Sergio Castellito's movie "Venuto al Mondo" or "Twice Born" were filmed in our restaurant with Oscar winning actress Penelope Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem, who were also our guests. For larger group arrivals, business conferences, weddings, birthday parties and other types of celebration, the restaurant management will agree on special offers, depending on the type of an event and price menus. Restaurant Bazeni also offers traditional music entertainment, which is specifically expressed in the weekends, when famous Balkan singers perform. It is in our restaurant where career have started today already affirmed singers, and representatives of our music, mega music stars such as Haris Džinović, Halid Bešlić, and many others. Under its current name, the restaurant Bazeni was opened in 1989 by two brothers, and since then undoubtedly holds the title of the most famous restaurant in Sarajevo. It has a large number of seats, over 200 of indoor and outdoor space, and parking place. Quality of the service can meet all the requirements of the guests. Menu: specialties of the house are lamb on the spit roast, under cooked veal, barbecue dishes, fish specialties, traditional dishes and desserts such as baklava and tufahija, etc. Prices of the meals range from 2 EUR to 15 EUR. Prices of the drinks range from 0,50 EUR to 20 EUR.
