ESCAPE FROM OUR VILLA TO THE LARGEST OF THE ELAPHITE ISLANDS, ŠIPAN!
There’s a large beach club with an on-site restaurant and offers great sunset views or you can head up to the church of the holy spirit dating back to 1569 – a great way to spend a day exploring this stunningly beautiful island.
Plenty of companies offer the 3 island tour, which includes Šipan though you’re not given very long to explore.
Being the largest island it is the only one that has transport allowed but it’s still a laid-back experience, with local buses so you don’t have to walk everywhere.
The island has a daily ferry service taking 1hr 15 minutes or a catamaran service running all year round, with a journey time of 40 minutes, both from Dubrovnik.
Or you could treat yourself to your own private boat and skipper!!!
