Queens Tower holiday rental is available as long as the sun shines in Barbados. So throughout the year as it never gets less than 27c degrees where the occasional tropical rain is usually a blessing from the heat. Queens Tower is situated halfway down one of only 3 private roads leading to the beach on the island, so, through the discreet side gate, past the old Fiscus tree and turn right...
Here you will see your first glimpse of the sea, hear the waves and feel the soft sand under your feet. The Beach Once at the end of the path and look left...
All your worries will fall away and you will be looking at a part of the west coast that feels like your own beach. The gorgeous lush trees offering some shade and breeze. Then just 5 mins walking along the sand past Lord Bamfords amazing home, you are at two of the best hotels on the island. The Colony Club and Coral Reef. Both of which you can sit at their bars, drink the local rum cocktails, reserve a table for food - The Coral Reef do the best breakfasts! Or book any of the many water sports. If you feel like completely chilling then the house contains plenty of soft towels, chairs, blankets ,cool boxes and the all important bottle openers for you to stay on the quiet part of the beach and claim it as your own. If you venture down here at sunset with the lanterns, many times we have watched large turtles lay their eggs and other times of the year watched the thousands of them hatch and wiggle their way to the water's edge.
The house was part of a large renovation project at the end of 2018 from its sorry old state to its now lovely open planned living space. Vaulted ceilings and light and airy rooms. There are still some further renovations taking place between guests stays. Mainly the two bedroomed independent cottage in the garden which will then make it a 5 bedroom / 5 bathroom property with a pool and plunge pool. Also new entrance walls and gates offering further privacy. The mature gardens are continuing to be enhanced and loved to give all year round colour and pleasure to the the many birds, monkeys and other animals that frequent the gardens.
